Do you enjoy shopping online? How about saving money? I love to do both of these things. I’m always on the look out for a great deal. I often shop online for certain things. I usually order items for my daughters online. Amazon is actually my favorite place to shop online. I love that they have a wide variety of products.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could earn money for each purchase you made? Giving Assistant gives back even more by making it easier than ever to shop responsibly and save money in the process. All you have to do is go to their website and find a store you’re looking to shop at. Once you find that store on the Giving Assistant site, you can click on their cash back button. It will then take you to the store to make your order. Within a few days you’ll see your cash back in your Giving Assistant account.
Giving Assistant has a lot of stores to choose from. One of my favorites is Amazon. They have over 1,000 stores that give cash back. One of my other favorite stores is Best Buy. Right now on Giving Assistant you can get 6% cash back from Best Buy. I also love Barnes & Noble because I can buy great books for my children. Giving Assistant also has 6% cash back from Barnes & Noble.
I used the Giving Assistant website to order something off Amazon. I was able to click on the “Activate 5% cash back now” button to get my 5% back from my order. After I clicked on the button it took me to Amazon. Once I was on Amazon, I ordered what I wanted, checked out and paid. It’s that easy! Make sure nothing is in your cart before you hit the cash back button, otherwise you won’t get your cash back. Your cart must be empty before you hit that button.
Within a few days you’ll see your cash back in your Giving Assistant account. As you can see, I received my earnings of .15. I had ordered something on Amazon for $3 and the .15 was in my account the day after ordering. I was surprised at how fast I was able to get the cash back.
They also have coupons that you can use. I have found many that I will most likely use in the future. The great thing about using coupons is that for each coupon used they donate a meal to a needy family in America. This is possible through the wonderful work of the nonprofit, Feeding America. I thought this was wonderful. I love when a company can donate to a cause.
Since I love shopping at Amazon, I wanted to show you some of the current coupons they offer. They had more coupons than what’s shown too. If you’re looking for women’s denim, you can save 20% off with the coupon. Do you have an iphone 6? You can save 80% on a screen protector for your iphone.
As you can see, Giving Assistant is a wonderful company. If you love to save money as much as I do, you’re going to love using their site. I’m excited to continue to use this site to save me more money on my purchases.

Hi Kathy, Jim from Giving Assistant here. Just wanted to stop by and say hello to you and your readers. If anyone has any questions at all, please feel free to ask me anything 🙂
Sounds great. Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve used a few other ones, but I’m going to switch to this one from now on. I’ve checked it out, picked my charity, installed the browser toolbar at Amazon (which the other cash back shopping sites I use don’t support) and LOVE it. Thanks so much for writing about this!!
You’re welcome. I’m glad you love it already! That’s so great to hear.
Hi Anne-Marie, Thanks for the kind words. Right now we are focusing more on the marketplace platform (website) than the toolbar, as that pre-dated the cash back system. To be safe, I would say disable the toolbar for now just until we can make some awesome updates to it. I saw you signed up, thanks! So we’ll be sending out news when we have some on the toolbar and new features.
This sounds like the perfect app for me. I do a lot of online shopping and getting cash back is right up my alley.

I’ll have to give this a try. I always love finding easy ways to save.
You’ll have to let me know what you think. I hope you love it!
6% back at Amazon is a lot. SO book marking this site.
It sure is! I hope you’ll be able to enjoy this site and save money.
Considering I do about 90% of my shopping online (aside from groceries) this is one helpful app. I’ve never seen or heard about it before but I’m sure it would be a great asset for me.
I hope you’ll be able to check them out. Since you do a lot of online shopping, you’d be able to save a lot!
This sounds a bit like ebates which I currently use…. curious how the percentages stack up against each other. I’ll have to check it out and just might have to make the switch!
It’s a great company! I love that they give back to charity as well. They’re amazing.
Hello Harperhousehold!
We are doing our VERY best to not only be competitive but better than ebates when it comes to the percentages. A little known fact is most cashback sites take about 50% of the money generated and give back the rest. We, however are giving 100% back. After all we’re Giving Assistant. On top of that we pay with the option of days, not months, and we actually help our members with customer service when they need it, no run-around.
I hope you’ll give us a shot, feel free to contact me directly (jim -at- g a dot org) if I can explain anything in more detail.
I have a bit of a shopping problem and love to shop online!! This sounds like a great way to save money!

Beat the malls, save with coupons and cash back, and best of all, if you order from a online store that is not in your state, you can avoid the state tax as well 🙂
