My daughters and I love to cook in the kitchen. It can get very messy in our kitchen with the children, but we all have so much fun. We don’t mind that it gets messy. As long as we are having fun, that’s all that matters. How about you, does your family love to cook in the kitchen too?

We always make our mealtimes saucesome. Wondering what saucesome might be? It’s what makes our family meal times so great! It’s always fun, silly, crazy and loving during our meal times. One of my favorite meals to make, is Chicken Alfredo. I have always used the Ragu Classic Alfredo sauce when making my recipe. This time around I was able to make a spin on the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo recipe from Ragú®.

  • 2 Jars Ragú® Alfredo Sauce
  • 12 oz Bag of Egg Noodles
  • 2 Cups Frozen Broccoli
  • 1 Can of Corn
  • 8 oz. Shredded Cheese ( I used Marble Jack)
  • 4 Pieces of Frozen Chicken

Instructions: Cook up the noodles according to the package. Also cook the chicken and broccoli up. I always cook my chicken over the stove, but you can always bake it if you’d like. In a 13×9 inch casserole dish, pour the noodles, corn, broccoli, Alfredo sauce and chicken in. Mix them all up. Sprinkle all the shredded cheese over the top. Next you’re going to want to put the oven on 350 degrees. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve and Enjoy!

My daughters and I had a lot of fun making this recipe. We are always being silly when we make recipes. My daughters love to eat noodles when I cook them, so I always let them have a few of them before finishing off the recipe. This is exactly what makes our meal time saucesome. Just having us all cooking together and being silly is what we love. As  you can see from some of the photos, I let them help pour the ingredients in the dish. They even used the noodles to make mustaches! How silly!

Ragú® Classic Alfredo sauce has a delicious taste your whole family will love. My family enjoys using all the Ragú® products, especially the Classic Alfredo. It’s my husband and I’s favorite sauce. In fact, I’d have to say that Chicken Alfredo is one of our favorite recipes to enjoy as a family as well. My youngest is allergic to dairy, so she’s unable to eat this, but we always use the other Ragú® sauces for her so she can enjoy dinner as well. We usually use the Ragú® Traditional sauce for her. She loves it!

alfredoNo matter what we make, we always have a great time doing it. It’s always full of fun and laughter. My daughters will help me make anything, as long as they get to help out. They love being in the kitchen to help me out. We all had so much fun creating the Alfredo recipe. I let my daughters put in all of the ingredients as I mixed them together. Pouring and mixing in the ingredients is one of their favorite things to do.

Thanks to Ragú®’s Classic Alfredo sauce, our recipe turned out delicious! This was definitely a different twist on the Alfredo we normally make. We will be making this more often as we all enjoyed it so much. It’s great to have family meal time with those that you love. It’s even more fun when you can be silly!

  1. I never tried preparing macaroni this way so thank you for sharing. I used ragu alfredo sauce a couple of times before with sphagetti and liked it. Your helpers are so cute!

  2. I’ve never tried this brand but others I’ve tried I wasn’t all that thrilled. Honestly I prefer to make my own alfredo because it’s fresh, very easy to make, it’s quick to make and tastes much better.

    • Ragu is the only brand I’ll use. I’ve tried others and never liked them. This would be the way to go for sure if you’re looking for a quick recipe.

  3. This looks so amazingly sauceome!!! I will definitely be putting this on my dinner list here. Pinning it now…thanks!

  4. Oooooo this sounds so freakn tasty!!!! I just love Alfredo & the best part is Alfredo sauce is so toddler friendly! At least in my house anyway lol

  5. Oh yum, how delicious does that look! I’d love a bowl of that and I think my fussy toddler would love it too 🙂

  6. The only time I can get my kids to eat broccoli is when I hide it in mac n’cheese! Actually, I tell them it’s in there but I guess they don’t care because they love cheese and pasta so much!

    • That’s to bad they don’t like it. My girls love all kinds of veggies, especially when they’re cooked! I hope you’ll give this a try.

  7. I’ve only tried Ragu’s tomato sauce, which is awesome by the way. I guess it’s time to try the alfredo sauce from Ragu – this recipe is enough to make me want to try it. Looking at your photos, I could sure have a serving of the Cheesy Broccoli and Chicken Alfredo that you made.

    • You’ll have to let me know what you think of it if you make it. I love Ragu’s Alfredo sauce, it’s so good!

  8. i had no idea ragu made a white sauce! i can already imagine all the recipes i could incorporate this in to. your casserole looks delicious and lots of leftovers!

  9. This entire combination sounds like a pure dose of heaven. I am totally an alfredo gal and can not believe I have never purchased the bottled variety.

  10. Experimenting new and tasteful ingredients in the kitchen is one of my mom’s favorite hobbies at home. Chicken Alfredo sounds awesome! It has been a while since we last had that.

    • My youngest is allergic to dairy so she couldn’t try it, but we use other Ragu sauce that she can have. But, yes we all loved it!

  11. I really like these sauces, but I try to avoid them. There are a lot of additives inside that I don’t want to feed my family. Thanks for sharing!

  12. I am seriously not lying when I say my stomach rumbled at the sight of this food, it looks so good! I would definitely give this a try for our family dinners yum! Thank you for sharing it.

  13. You’re lucky your little ones like to help. My youngest used to love it but these days he’s copying his (teen) sister and opting out of kitchen help. I miss them both in there. 🙂 I like Ragu. Never tried anything but the red sauce, but this looks good!

    • Aww I’m sorry to hear that. I’d hate to hear of my kids not wanting to help out but I suppose around the teens a lot probably don’t want to help much anymore. I hope you try the Ragu Alfredo sauce. It’s so good!
