Since I’m part of the Jennie-O Switch Circle Blogger program, I get some great Jennie-O products sent to me a few times a year. It’s great to get these products, because I love Jennie-O. They have such great quality products that taste amazing. This time around I was given some ground turkey and some boneless turkey breast tenderloin.

The tenderloin looked great. I was excited to try them out, because it was something I haven’t had from Jennie-O yet. Before I cooked them they already looked good. I decided to use these in the crockpot along with some potatoes and carrots. I love to use the crockpot for a lot of different meats, and this tenderloin was great for that.

The tenderloin turned out great once it was done. One of the best tenderloin I’ve ever had. Jennie-O always seems to surprise me with all their great products. It went great with my potatoes and carrots as well. It was a perfect dinner.

I used the ground turkey to make a topping that I put over some linguine pasta. It turned out really good too!

  • 1 lb. Jennie-O Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 Cup Green Peppers
  • 1/4 Cup Onions
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 14.5 Oz Can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Pasta Sauce
  • Box of Linguine Pasta

Take all these ingredients, except for the pasta and put them in a pan. Get them all cooking together. While those are cooking, you can cook up the pasta in another pot as well. Once the mix is done cooking up, you can just pour that right over the pasta. It’s that simple!

This was definitely something different from what I normally make. I thought it turned out good, and I would make it again. My husband and I both ate it. My girls were not home at the time, they were in school. I’m sure they would have liked this dish too. We all love pastas, so to add some of this turkey was great! I find turkey to be much more healthy as well. It’s a great alternative to some other meats that are not as healthy.

Have you tried any Jennie-O products before? If so, what do you think of them?
