Sometimes grocery shopping can become a pain. Sometimes you just don’t feel like going out shopping, or maybe it’s just so busy and you don’t feel like standing in line at the checkout for so long. I’m sure we’ve all had those days when it gets super busy while grocery shopping. One of the great things about grocery shopping, is that you can do some of it online too!
If you’re looking for some great meats to stock up on, Butcher Box has got some great options for you. Have you heard about subscription boxes yet? These are great boxes of goodies that can get delivered to you each month. Butcher Box is one of these subscription box sites too. You can pick out a box that has some great meats in it. They have four different boxes, and those are the all beef box, mixed box, beef & pork box and the beef & chicken box. I was lucky enough to get a box to review, and I chose the all beef box.
I was surprised at all the wonderful kinds of beef that I was sent with this box. I received some sirloin, beef chuck, bacon and more! A lot of great items came with this box. It was exciting being able to try these all out. Steak is one of my favorite meats, so I’m glad there were a lot of those with this box.
I ended up making tacos with the beef chuck that I received. This meat was very good, and it cooked up nicely. I was very happy with this beef chuck. Sometimes you have meat like this that doesn’t really crumble up nicely like I want, so it was nice to be able to get that with this.
The beef thin sliced was amazing! I love how thinly sliced it was. It makes it great for a lot of different meals too. I personally love to just peel it off and eat it. This was the first time I think I’ve ever actually had this type of meat like this before. I’m glad I was able to try it out because it was the best I’ve had yet.
The beef top sirloin was great as well. You can just see how juicy and tender it is from the photos. I was surprised how well it cut too. It was very simple to cut through so I could cut them in pieces. It’s always nice when the pieces are not so tough, because it’s easier to cut and they are easier to chew as well.
I loved how the beef sirloin tips kind of crumbled apart. It was nice to have them in a lot of pieces so that you can just eat them up that way. This way you don’t really have to cut these ones a whole lot in order to eat them. They were also very good!
The beef boneless ribeye was another one of my favorites. This has always been one of my favorite cuts of meat, so it was no surprise when I tried this out and loved it as well.
The bacon was so good! My daughters ate that up so fast. They love bacon, and love it more when it’s very crispy and crunchy. I was able to make it just the way they loved it.
