As some of you may know, I’m part of the Jennie-O Switch Circe Blogger Program. This just means that I get sent some of the Jennie-O products a few times a year and I get to try them out and give my opinion on them. This time I was sent some of the turkey burgers.
Since these were turkey burgers, I decided to make a burger out of them. I went with something different from I would normally make too. This was a first for me for making an avocado turkey burger, and it ended up turning out great.
Jennie-O Turkey Burgers
They turkey burgers turned out amazing! They didn’t take a whole lot of time to get them cooked up either. I was actually very surprised at home much I enjoyed these. It’s great to know that I can make a healthier burger that tastes good too.
You can easily make this burger within minutes of having the turkey burger cooked. It really is a quick and simple recipe. All you have to do, is cook up the turkey burger. Than what you’re going to want to do, is start topping off the burger. I put the cheese down on the bun, than pickles, tomato, avocado and then I topped it with the lime juice. What I do with the lime, is just squeeze a little bit of the juice all over the burger. It gives it a great taste!
I’m very happy with the way this turned out. I wasn’t expecting to actually love this as much as I do. I’m very thrilled that I can now enjoy another healthy meal with my family. It’s important for me to start eating healthier for both myself and my family. Jennie-O is a great step in getting in the right direction. Changing to turkey from other unhealthy meats can really help a lot.
