Geoffrey Bumble and Friends is a children’s collection full of stories and rhymes. My daughters are young, so they probably wouldn’t understand these stories and rhymes yet. If you have children that are able to read on there own, these stories and rhymes would be great for them.
There are a total of seven stories and eight rhymes. Geoffrey Bumble and Friends is actually the second sequel to “The Tale of Greta Gumboot and Other Stories.” All the stories are about a magical adventure, with talking animals, witches, dragons, and more.
I really enjoyed reading all the stories. I just wish my kids were old enough to listen to the whole story. I can hardly get them to stay still for a short story. I’ll have to make sure to read them these stories before they go to bed when they’re older. These would make great bedtime stories.
One of the stories was called Mr. Bumble and the Mumble Bee. This was one of my favorite stories. In this story, animals can talk. There is a bee that has lost his voice, and needs to get it back. He goes out to find someone that can help him find his voice again. I don’t want to give away anymore, so your going to have to read the stories yourself.
The book is aimed toward kids that are 5-8. Kids that are younger could still enjoy being read these stories and rhymes. If your children love stories about magic and adventure, this would be a great book for them.
You can order the kindle edition on amazon. Make sure to check them out on Facebook and Twitter.
