The first thing you want to do, is get out a bowl and mix in the flour, salt, food gel/coloring and the warm water. Keep mixing that up good until it feels more like dough and all the food coloring is mixed in good.
Now you will want to put some flour down and roll out the dough. Use your cookie cutter or mason jar lid to cut out the circle shapes.
Make sure your oven is set to 200 degrees and use parchment paper over your baking sheets. You can now put your cut out shapes on the baking sheet. Bake them for about 2 hours or until hard.
Once they're done, take them out of the oven and let them cool off. You're going to want to use paint next to just swipe a line across each of the salt dough pieces. I just used purple, red, blue and orange for each of the turtles.
Now you can glue on the googly eyes. Or if you have the already stick on ones, that works too. That is it. Very simple and easy to do.
