I’m very excited that summer break is finally here for my children. They just got done with another year of school. Now we have the whole summer to look forward to doing some exciting things. Do you have any plans for the summer yet? We don’t have a whole lot of plans, but we hope to make it a fun and exciting summer. I hate to see the kids bored, so I try to make each day fun for them.
One my families favorite things to do in the summer, is to go to water parks. There is so much to do at them with all the water slides. It’s nice to be able to cool off and have fun on a hot summer day as well. We have been to Wisconsin Dells a few times, and we loved it. The Kalahari Resort is a great place to stay. You can stay at the resort and go to the water park. They even have a new water slide!
The Kalahari Resort offers so much. They have many water slides, restaurants, pools, bowling and more! I think you’ll find it exciting here and your kids are going to love it! If you’re staying at the Kalahari Resort, you’ll find some great views too. I don’t think my family would ever want to leave if we went here. Their newest water slide looks like so much fun too!
This newest ride at Wisconsin Dells is called The Smoke That Thunders. I thought it looked like a ton of fun. This new ride is now open too! You will soar through a dark tube, around in a circle and then maximize the thrill with some of the longest hang times, facing zero-g oscillations as you sweep up and across the wall, virtually defying gravity before sweeping back down. Doesn’t that sound like fun?!
I can’t wait to take my family here. I know they’re going to have an amazing time. I know that my daughters love going on all kinds of water rides, so this would be a great vacation for them. The Dells are not to terribly far away for us. It’s about a three-hour drive, but it’s certainly worth the drive. Besides WI Dells, there is also a Kalahari Resort in Sandusky OH.
Kalahari Resorts is an awesome place to stay. I hope that you may have this on your list of fun things to do this summer or are at least thinking about it. I know your family would have a great time here. They usually have some great deals going on too, so make sure to check them out. Hopefully you’ll be booking your stay soon so that you can experience these new water slides!

This water slide looks like so much fun! We have something similar, though very different at our local water park and I love the fact that it’s something that the family can enjoy together. It’s also great for the younger kids who are a little worried about riding the slides alone. As someone originally from Ohio, I can say that Kalahari should definitely be on anyone’s bucket list, especially if you live in the Mid-West.
I plan to go here someday. I know my girls would have so much fun!

That looks like a SUPER fun thing to do! Especially with the kids as a family! Our plans pretty much involve golfing and spending time at the lake. We would love to get some Kayaks but that may be more of an expense than we are ready for this year.

NOW THIS looks like an amazing trip! That water slide looks as though it would be a straight up blast. HUGE fun. I have always loved water slides. I am willing to bet my kids would get a kick out of this place. May have to give it a shot soon.

I like going to waterparks with family to cool down in summer. We alwayshave a blast wherever we go. Wish we could do it again soon.
