Old World Gourmet Giveaway

With Spring and Summer just around the corner and many BBQs and Parties its time to start looking for some new and fun drinks. I was SO excited to learn about Old World Gourmet and the amazing products that they have to offer. Here is a little about OWG from their website,

Old World Gourmet began as the dream of Deanna Sullivan in 2001. She wanted a mid life career change and a better work life balance, so she struck out on her own. Beginning with the original wine ice frozen wine mix, she has nurtured Old World Gourmet to where it is today. There are now over 100 products in an array of flavors spanning frozen wine, liquor, cake and cracker mixes.

Old World Gourmet products have received numerous awards and have been reviewed (to nearly universal praise) by food and drink bloggers across the internet. All of OWG’s products are hand assembled in the USA and the company is women owned and operated.

The first step, which can be hard is to pick an amazing flavor, once you pick the flavor you see what type of alcohol you need and grab that. With the Margarita mix we could use a white wine and I had a cold bottle in the fridge so it was a no brainier, I could have also made it with vodka and I am sure it would have been just as amazing that way as well.

Then you pour all the contents into a pitcher or zip lock bag, for freezer space reason we used the zip lock bag. We poured the contents of the pouch, bottle of wine and the required water into the bag. We then mixed it up and put it in the freezer. Now for the loooooonnnnnnngggggggg wait, not really too bad, about 2 hours.

After we pulled it out of the freezer it was time to serve and enjoy. OMG it was amazing! Before I knew it it was time to make another batch and we did all the steps over again. You will be very pleased with the ease of use, and the amazing flavor that you will receive from this product. As I write this review I am enjoying the amazing Sangria Flavor… YUMMY!

They are also VERY reasonable in price and packaged very nicely so they would be great as a gift. Each box is $10.00 but when you purchase then as a sampler, you receive 3 boxes for $24.00 and save a little! I would strongly suggest that you take this option as you will need to make more
