Halloween is quickly approaching. It is already October, and I’m so ready for Halloween. This is one of my favorite days of the year. I absolutely love Halloween and everything about it. I always go out with my daughters to watch them go trick or treating, but I also enjoy seeing everyone all dressed up. It is so much fun to see all the wonderful costumes everyone comes up with. Since Halloween is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to have a Halloween book guide. If you or someone you know loves to read, or loves activity books, you’ll find a great list of some fun Halloween ones here.
The Creepy Cute Goth Coloring Book
It’s Halloween all year round with these thirty creepy (but cute!) seasonal coloring pages in The Creepy Cute Goth Coloring Book.
Goth has gone mainstream—and multicolored!
Forget outfits of black on black on black (though those are still in). The goth aesthetic has expanded to include bright colors, pastels, and cute twists on the traditionally macabre mode of expressing yourself. The Creepy Cute Goth Coloring Book takes a page from that direction by providing thirty fun twists on seasonal imagery so you can channel your inner Wednesday Addams while using all the colors in the crayon box—or marker pack or colored pencil bin.
Celebrate with springtime cemetery scenes, ice cream cones with skulls and crossbones, and snowmen covered in spiders with the perfect mash-up coloring book that’s sure to please even the most tortured souls.

Who better to investigate the literary spirit world than that supreme connoisseur of the unexpected? From the author of such beloved books as James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Witches comes a collection of spooky tales carefully curated by the author himself, Roald Dahl’s Book of Ghost Stories.
Of the many permutations of the macabre or bizarre, Dahl was always especially fascinated by the classic ghost story. As he relates in the erudite introduction to this volume, he read some 749 supernatural tales at the British Museum Library before selecting the 14 that comprise this anthology. “Spookiness is, after all, the real purpose of the ghost story,” Dahl writes. “It should give you the creeps and disturb your thoughts.”
For this superbly disquieting collection, Dahl offers favorite tales by such masterful storytellers as E. F. Benson, J. Sheridan Le Fanu, Rosemary Timperley, and Edith Wharton.

Read Sally’s story in this young adult companion to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas written by New York Times best-selling author Shea Ernshaw.
Jack and Sally are “truly meant to be” … or are they?
Sally Skellington is the official, newly-minted Pumpkin Queen after a whirlwind courtship with her true love, Jack, who Sally adores with every inch of her fabric seams– if only she could say the same for her new role as Queen of Halloween Town. Cast into the spotlight and tasked with all sorts of queenly duties, Sally can’t help but wonder if all she’s done is trade her captivity under Dr. Finkelstein for a different cage. But when Sally and Zero accidentally uncover a long-hidden doorway to an ancient realm called Dream Town, she’ll unknowingly set into motion a chain of sinister events that put her future as Pumpkin Queen, and the future of Halloween Town itself, into jeopardy. Can Sally discover what it means to be true to herself and save the town she’s learned to call home, or will her future turn into her worst… well, nightmare?

Don’t miss this witchy and wickedly good rom-com for Halloween
New York Times Bestseller
Erin Sterling casts a delightful spell with a spine-tingling romance full of wishes, witches, and hexes gone wrong.
“A delightful and witty take on witchy mayhem.” — Popsugar
Nine years ago, Vivienne Jones nursed her broken heart like any young witch would: vodka, weepy music, bubble baths…and a curse on the horrible boyfriend. Sure, Vivi knows she shouldn’t use her magic this way, but with only an “orchard hayride” scented candle on hand, she isn’t worried it will cause him anything more than a bad hair day or two.
That is until Rhys Penhallow, descendent of the town’s ancestors, breaker of hearts, and annoyingly just as gorgeous as he always was, returns to Graves Glen, Georgia. What should be a quick trip to recharge the town’s ley lines and make an appearance at the annual fall festival turns disastrously wrong. With one calamity after another striking Rhys, Vivi realizes her silly little Ex Hex may not have been so harmless after all.
Suddenly, Graves Glen is under attack from murderous wind-up toys, a pissed off ghost, and a talking cat with some interesting things to say. Vivi and Rhys have to ignore their off the charts chemistry to work together to save the town and find a way to break the break-up curse before it’s too late.
