You have all heard about candles with jewelry inside right? I know there are many candle companies out there, but the ones with jewelry inside happen to be my favorite. Recently I was given the opportunity to review one of the 3-8-1 Candles. Each candle is made with 75% soy wax and 25% with other natural waxes. They have tarts, 14 oz candles, 22 oz candles and little lady candles. Each candle is hand poured, has two wicks and is dusted with elegant glitter on top. The jewelry tarts, 22 oz candles and the special edition little lady candles all have jewelry hidden inside. There is no fake jewelry inside any of the candles. They are all crafted from genuine fine jewelry metals, which include titanium, tungsten, stainless steel, .925 sterling silver, 10k, 14k and 24k gold. Each piece of genuine jewelry has a retail value of $39.99 to $1,000.
I chose the Caramel Apple 3-8-1 candle. The smell of this candle made me want to eat it, but of course I wouldn’t do that. I love caramel apples so this candle was amazing! It smelled exactly like a caramel apple. It was very well packaged as well. Lots of bubble wrap to keep it safe. I was surprised to see a butterfly tart with the candle. I didn’t know they came with a sample tart too! The candle has glitter on top, which was so pretty I didn’t even want to burn it. Of course I did burn it so I could see what kind of jewelry was hidden inside. This candle took many hours to burn. I had to stop burning it a few times, so it took a few days to get to the jewelry. My jewelry was hidden all the way at the very bottom. I love waiting longer to get to the jewelry. It’s a lot more fun that way!
After many hours of burning my candle, I finally saw the foil. If you haven’t had one of these candles before, the foil is where the jewelry hides. You have to pull out the foil in order to get to your jewelry. After unwrapping the foil, the jewelry was inside a small bag. I pulled out some beautiful earrings! I posted my picture of the earrings on the 3-8-1 Candles Facebook page and they even told me what they were and the value. These earrings are genuine tanzanite with diamond accents set in .925. They are a value of $120! I’m so excited that they are of a great value and they are so beautiful too!
Wouldn’t you love to have one of these candles? I’m in love with 3-8-1 Candles. They are some of the best made jewelry candles out there. Of course having the glitter on top just adds to the fun of the candle! Who wouldn’t want a surprise piece of jewelry inside a candle? True Loves Spell would be awesome to try as my first 3-8-1 Candle.. I think I am going to switch to them, I hope to get hooked. Trying to get funds to get a candle but having a daughter and my great grandmother I take care of with Alzhimers is tuff work and leave money low sometimes and candles make my house cheerfull and makes things alot easier to deal with.I believe candles are good therapy and good for the soul.
