What activities do your kids enjoy doing on a rainy day?

These are great ideas. I love the sheer number of options you presented here. NO kid can be bored with all of these choices.

Right! My daughters love them all.
This is fantastic! While it doesn’t rain a lot in my area – the hottest, driest part of the country – it does get so hot that the kids can’t go outside. I’m bookmarking this!
These would be great for those super hot days too!
My favourite is definitely the puppet show. This is a great list of options! Thank you so much for sharing!
Yes, those are always a ton of fun.
We love I Spy! We play it all the time. Love your list.
My girls play that all the time as well.
Great ideas!! I loved being a kid on rainy days, so much to do. 🙂
Right! Me too!!
We just blew up a bunch of balloons for the kids to play with. They had such a blast! I love to play cards when it is rainy outside!
That is always a ton of fun. My kids could play with balloons for hours.
We have had a lot of rain here this summer. These activities all sound like fun.
They sure are!
I love playing games when the weather is nasty out. When my kids were younger we played a lot of go fish.
Same here. My girls are always wanting to play games.
Great list. My kids could use this yet for the end of summer ideas, those rainy “bored” days:) Thanks for the list.
You’re welcome.
The library is a great place to go with the kids on a rainy day. We have a great program at our local Library for kids.
I agree. They always have some fun programs going on for kids.
Museums are a fun rainy day activity. A lot of museums are free for kids so it is a cheap way to get out and have some fun.
Those are great too. Lots of fun at museums.
I have a jar we keep a bunch of rainy day activities in. When it is not so nice out we go and pick out an idea.
That’s a great idea!
Our grand kids love to build forts, regardless of the weather! Reading to kids is great! An indoor treasure hunt sounds like fun!
Same with my girls. Those are always fun to build.
Great ideas. I used to keep a rainy day box in my closet that my kids could only get down when the weather made it impossible to go outside.
That’s a good idea. I love that!
Rainy days are always perfect for crafts and projects. I like the idea of baking as a family too!
They sure are. We love doing both crafts and baking.
We love going to the library and playing cards on a rainy day. It’s so much work to keep them occupied!
Same here. The library always has fun stuff to do.
Great list of tips. My boys would love them.
Thanks. I’m sure they would!
I like the indoor treasure hunt! How fun would that be for both mom and kids.. need to try this
Right. It’s so much fun!
All great activities to do with kids on rainy days. I love rainy days with the kids, we always have a blast.
Same here. They’re the best!
I love this cute list! There are many different things to think about doing. We are pretty famous for our epic pillow fights though!
Those sure are a ton of fun.
These are great ideas! We’ve had a LOT of rain this summer, so this list will come in handy!
Great! I wish we had more rain here.
Fort building is a must, and we are lucky enough to have a new library across the street. Fantastic list!!
That’s great to hear!!
