I love to cook/bake but sometimes it can become a pain. I’ve been trying to make more meals for my family that are home-made or easier to make. I don’t like to just throw ready-made food in the oven and call it good. I want something I can actually gather the ingredients together and make.

Have you heard of Krusteaz? They have some wonderful mixes and some of those are even gluten-free. I knew that these would be great because they’re mixes and I just had to add some ingredients and I was good to go.

I received eight different products to review. They are gluten-free buttermilk pancake mix, gluten-free double chocolate brownie mix, gluten-free honey cornbread mix, gluten-free blueberry muffin mix, light & fluffy blueberry pancake mix, Italian herb flatbread mix, no knead country white artisan bread mix and meyer lemon pound cake mix.

blueberry

The blueberry muffins turned out great. I was surprised at how much I liked these. I have never had gluten-free ones before, so it was different for me, but in a great way. These are a must try for those of you that love blueberry muffins.

pancakes

I love pancakes, so when I had the chance to try some gluten-free ones, I was very excited. I have to say that the buttermilk ones were my favorite. Both of them were very light and fluffy, which I love.

bread

This bread was absolutely amazing! It was definitely the best baked bread I’ve had. I can’t wait to get more of this. Words can’t explain how awesome this was. My oldest daughter Mercades loves bread, so I wanted her to try this too. She’s been asking for it every day. I’m so glad that she loves it as much as I do!

IMG_4657

I actually made a recipe with the bread. I decided to make Chicken Alfredo Bread Bowl and it was amazing too. Feel free to check out my RECIPE to see how I made it.

brownie

The brownies were very delicious. Since they were double chocolate, you could taste the chocolate chips inside. I have to say I love these gluten-free brownies more than any other brownie I’ve had.

cake

The meyer lemon pound cake was so good. It was a very moist/soft cake. Pound cake is my favorite kind of cake which is probably why I loved this one so much. The glaze on top of it made it that much better. I also love a great lemon flavor, so that was awesome!

IMG_4594

I used the pound cake to make a Lemon Berry trifle recipe. Check out my RECIPE on how to make it if you’d like. I think you’ll love this recipe if you love fruit.

IMG_4617

I used the cornbread mix to make some Taco Cornbread Casserole. The cornbread was very good. A bit different from what I usually have since it’s gluten-free, but very good. I really liked it with this recipe. I thought it made it fantastic! Feel free to check out my RECIPE if you’d like.

IMG_4581

I used the Italian Herb flatbread to make some pizza. This was the best flatbread I have ever had. I love that you can make so many recipes with flatbread. The bread was very soft and tasted delicious. If you love the Italian Herb flavor, then I’m sure you’ll love this. Italian Herb is my favorite flavor of bread, so I really enjoyed it. Check out my RECIPE if you’d like.

If you’re looking for some great baking mixes, I recommend checking out the Krusteaz mixes. They’re so amazing and I couldn’t be happier! I can’t wait to try out the rest of the products they have. I definitely want to check out all of their bread mixes.
