Save Time Communicating With Your Team With TeamSnap

Whether you have children or not, being on a team can become very stressful. Were you ever on a team when you were in school? I have two daughters of my own and I hope that one day they’ll join a sport or group in school. Events often need volunteers. Sometimes events are cancelled. The times can get changed as well. This means the person in charge needs to get the message out right away about these changes. This isn’t always easy either.

I’m sure emails are used often in this case as well as just calling on the phone. Even if we do this by email, it can take a while for someone to get the message. Not everyone is going to check their email often. That leaves us with the question of whether someone gets the message or not. You’d think there was a better way to be able to communicate with everyone.

teamsnap

Have you heard of TeamSnap? This is the best option for communicating with your team. If you’re a coach or a volunteer, you should definitely check out this site. It’s a great way for everyone to be able to communicate with each other and check on schedules, events and more.

Lets say you have a basketball team. You want to be able to have a great way for everyone to communicate together. You can use the TeamSnap website to gather all information. You can schedule events or first games. You can message everyone on the team if a game is cancelled or maybe someone got sick and they need someone to fill it. There are so many great benefits to this site.

stats

The stats is great for tracking individual points, fouls or anything else you may need to keep track of. You’ll be able to customize it however you’d like. You can even turn the stats off if you don’t want to deal with them.

stuff

It would take me forever to explain some of the options on this site, so I’m going to walk you through some of them in short explanations. The photo above will show you all the options on the site.

Everyone can be on Roster. This means coaches, teachers, parents and team members. Everyone’s profile will have all of their information on it. The information includes things like their phone number, address, jersey number and more. You can even add a photo of each member if you’d like. This can help those remember everyone easier too.

photos

Under the media tab you can share photos, files and videos. The entire team will be able to view these. I think this is one of my favorite options on this site. If you’re playing on your team, you can get photos yourself since you’re playing. This is a great way to look back at some photos or videos while you were playing a game.

As you can see, TeamSnap is a great way to communicate with your whole team. This program is definitely worth it if you have your own team. If you’re a parent that has children on a team/event, than I would highly recommend you talk to someone in charge. You can sign up for a free trial for the first 21 days. It’s worth it to try it out. I’m sure your whole team is going to love it.

Do you ever find it frustrating in clubs or teams? Tell me about it. I’d love to hear what you all think.
