Have you ever been to a science museum? I love going to the Science Museum of Minnesota. If you’re ever in the area, then this is a great museum to check out. They have a lot of great activities for the kids and everyone will love checking out all the neat things they have.

They always change-up the museum, so it’s not always the same. This time it was all about space. They had activities for kids that dealt with space and they had videos about space as well. Of course they had a lot of different space things you could look at as well.

When you first get inside the museum, you’ll see a few dinosaurs. My daughters love to see all these dinosaurs. They think they’re very neat.

The musical stairs have always been a favorite of my kids. When you go up and down these stairs they’ll make music. My daughters definitely got their exercise just by going up and down the stairs. It’s very neat to be able to hear different sounds for each step you take.

My daughters were having a lot of fun getting their photos while they made themselves look like astronauts.

The tornado has always been my favorite thing to see at the science museum. It’s very neat to be able to see it in action. You’ll be able to watch as it forms and goes away. It’s such a neat thing to see.

This piece of art was so neat to see! You could keep moving around and you’d see this piece of work move as well. This was created by an artist named Randy Walker. He threads these cords back and forth with different colors.

This was another piece of work that I found interesting. They had all sorts of different pieces hanging down to create all these colors. It was so beautiful to be able to look at it.

My daughters didn’t really know how to work this life support equipment, but they had fun trying it out. It was actually a lot more difficult than you’d think. You have to make sure everything is correct and in perfectly working order.

Journey to Space is now showing in the Omnitheater through August 23, 2015. We were able to watch this at the museum, and it was very interesting to see the life of astronauts and space.

There is so much to see at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Come check it out if you’re ever in the area. This was an amazing learning experience for all of us.
