Does your family enjoy playing games? My family and I love playing all types of games. Board games are some of our favorites to play. I have two daughters at the ages of 4 and 6, and they play games every day.
Winning Moves Games has a lot of great games for everyone. They have children’s games, family games, card games and so much more. I’m sure you’ll find a game your family will enjoy.
I received six games from Winning Moves Games. They are Hi-Ho! Cherry-O, Fish, Fish, Squish!, Candy Land, Guess Who?, Connect 4 Twist & Turn, and Rubik’s Speed Cube.
My daughters and I really enjoyed playing Hi-Ho! Cherry-O. This is a great kids game and it will teach them about numbers. Everyone has to be able to know how to count with this game. What you’ll have to do is put your cherries on your tree. Then you spin the spinner and take off how many it says. You’ll then put those cherries in your colored bucket. If you land on the dog or bird, you’ll have to take two cherries from your bucket and put them back on the tree. The person to get all the cherries in their bucket first wins.
Fish, Fish, Squish! is a newer game. This is a great game for younger children. It’s also a very simple game to play. My daughters and I really enjoyed this game.
With the Fish, Fish, Squish! game, the object is to be the last one having a fish standing. You’ll be able to place all the cards in rows, and the players take turns by flipping the cards over. Once someone gets three different colored fish in a row, they get to squish the other players fish. You can use the fish molds to make your fish with the dough provided. You have a total of 5 fish on your board. If your fish are all squished first, then you’ll lose. You’ll want to be the last one with at least one fish still standing.
Can you believe that Candy Land has been around for 65 years!? I remember playing this game all the time as a child. This was always one of my favorite games to play when I was a kid. I’m so glad my kids are able to enjoy this game now.
Candy Land can be played with up to four players. You’ll have your gingerbread men as your pieces to move around the board. You’ll use the cards to figure out where you’re going to land on the board. Some of those cards will have colors on them and others will have different candies on them. If you land on a candy, then you just move to that spot on the board. The same goes with the colors. It’s a simple game, yet fun for all to enjoy.
Guess Who? is another one of my favorite games I played as a child. This game is recommended for ages six and up, and I agree with the age since you’ll need to know how to read names and be able to have a few skills.
You’re trying to guess the other opponents person that they have on their card. The person who guesses the other persons card first, wins. You just have to take turns by asking questions about the opponents card. You can ask things like: Is the person a boy, do they wear a hat, do they have red hair, are they wearing glasses, and other questions. They should always be yes or no questions.
If you have ever played Connect 4, then you know that you must get four of your colors in a row to win. It’s very easy to play.
There is a new twist on this game and it’s called Connect 4 Twist & Turn. You’ll still play this the same way by trying to get your four colors in a row. You’ll be able to twist and turn the blue pieces though. This gives it more of a challenge since you’re looking all over to make sure nobody can twist or turn it to make four in a row.
I’m guessing most of you know about the Rubik’s cube by now. I haven’t really played around with one before. I knew it was always hard to be able to actually defeat it too. You have to make sure to get all colors to line up on each side of the block. It’s actually very challenging and I’ve never been able to complete it.
With the Rubik’s Speed Cube, you’ll be able to speed up the process. You can the Rubik’s cube apart and arrange the pieces how you want them to be. You could easily put it all back together this way too. It’s all up to you on how you want to play with the Rubik’s Speed Cube. I love that this comes apart so that I can clean it as well.
If you’re looking for games to play with the whole family, then I would suggest checking out Winning Moves Games. They have a lot of amazing games to play. Even the prices are great!
