Do you have kids that love to watch Dora? My daughters have been watching Dora for years. They love to watch her and I love that they love this show. There are a lot of great things that come from watching this show. One of those is that they can learn some Spanish. My daughters have already picked up on a lot of Spanish because of watching this show.
Recently I was provided with Dora the Explorer: Whirl and Twirl Collection on DVD to review. This comes with two DVDs.
Disc 1
Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Fantastic Gymnastics Adventure. Episodes Include:

- A Ribbon for Pinto
- Swiper’s Favorite Things
Disc 2
Dora The Explorer: Dora’s Ballet Adventures. Episodes include:
- Dora’s Ballet Adventure
- Dora, La Musico
- The Super Silly Fiesta
- Surprise
I love that these movies are about ballet and gymnastics. They both get my daughters very interested in the shows. The gymnastics one is where Dora receives a rainbow ribbon. She’ll learn that she gets to start the big gymnastics show. Swiper shows up and swipes her rainbow ribbon. Now her and Boots will have to find the ribbon so they can start the show.
Dora gets to perform her big dance recital in the Ballet Adventures movie. She ends up having to find her ballet slippers before she can begin the show. She needs to go back to her dance school so that she can find them.
Make sure to pick up your own copy of the movies when it arrives on June 2nd. If you have Dora fans in your house, then I’d highly recommend getting this one. My daughters loved both of these!
