I received a Red Lobster gift card a while back, and I have never been there before. I know it sounds crazy that I have never been to Red Lobster before. I was really excited to receive the gift card so I could take my father and my daughters out to eat there. I thought this was the perfect chance to take my father out because I know how much he enjoys Red Lobster. Of course I wanted to go since I’ve never been there. I was extremely excited to try out their food. My daughters love going out to restaurants, so they were excited as well.

I’ve heard that Red Lobster always gives everyone the cheddar bay biscuits after they place their orders. I love it when restaurants give you something before your food comes out. These biscuits were amazing too! I would go back just for the biscuits. I couldn’t believe how delicious they were. It’s no wonder everyone is always talking so highly of them.

My daughters were excited to go to Red Lobster. They always love when restaurants bring out kids menus with activities on them along with crayons. This always keeps them very busy while waiting for their food. Sometimes they can be impatient, so this helps out a lot.

I decided to get the Chicken Alfredo and it came with a salad. I got the Caesar salad. It was very delicious and I really loved the croutons. Not everyone gives you croutons with your salad. I love it when they do that.

The Parmesan Crusted Chicken Alfredo was very different from what I’m use to eating. This came with corkscrew pasta and fresh broccoli. I thought this was good. The crusted part made it so much more different than what I normally eat. I thought that was actually good and I really loved that they had broccoli with it too. I don’t usually add broccoli, but I will sometimes. It’s always nice to have veggies added to your meal. That way I’m getting my veggies in each day too.

My father got Admiral’s Feast. This came with Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips and wild-caught flounder, all fried to a golden brown. He also got to choose the side dish to go with it. He went with some mashed potatoes. My father said he loved everything on his plate. I even tried some of it and it was really good. I normally don’t each much for seafood except for fish. I was surprised that I really enjoyed some of the food off his plate.

My daughters both got the grilled chicken. My youngest got hers with broccoli and my oldest got orange slices with hers. My youngest daughter Tesla loves grilled chicken. Every time we go out to a nice restaurant, she always orders grilled chicken. She definitely ate hers up quickly. My oldest Mercades got hers so that she could give it to Tesla. She can be picky with food. She loves Chicken Alfredo, so we shared my food.

My father and daughter Mercades wanted to get a photo taken, so I took one of them. This was right after they received their food. Mercades was very excited to try out some of the food. She loves fruits and veggies, so she dug right in to her orange slices right away.

Everything was very good and the service was great as well. We were very impressed with everything. After we finished eating and paying for our meal, we decided to sit outside for a while.

WP_20151011_15_32_19_Pro

They had some nice benches to sit on outside, so everyone decided to sit there and just relax. It was nice to get outside for some fresh air after eating.

We saw a nice water fountain, so my daughters went down to sit by it so they could see it. We even caught a rainbow!

We had a great experience at Red Lobster. We would all definitely go again. In fact, we can’t wait til we can go again. I know there is a lot more food that I’d love to try out there. Have you ever been to Red Lobster? If so, what’s your favorite dish?

That looked like a fun outing for you, your dad and your girls. My kids aren’t into seafood OR chicken, so it Red Lobster isn’t the place for them. But I LOVE seafood, so I’d go for the shrimp and scallops!
