I can’t believe how quickly the holidays are approaching. I know it’s going to be Christmas before you know it. Are you excited that the holidays are almost here? These are my favorite times of the year. What I really love is when they start showing Christmas shows on T.V. There are so many of them and they’re my favorite ones to watch. I could never get tired of watching them.

Paper Angels is a great Christmas movie that came out on November 3rd. This movie is based on a real life story of hit country music star, Jimmy Wayne. It’s also based off the best-selling book by Wayne and popular Christian author Travis Thrasher.

Lynn Brandt is a wife and mother is being abused by her alcoholic husband. She finally is able to get out of the house and she drives away with her children to move to another town. This is all done right before Christmas. They leave everything behind, so they have to start over new. Since it’s almost Christmas and they don’t have much, Lynn decides to enroll her son and daughter in the Angel Tree program. Thomas (Lynn’s son) gets picked on in school by some bully who makes up a page on the internet to dis Thomas. Things turn around when Thomas does something about it.

This story reminds families about what the holidays are really about. It’s a very touching and inspiring movie. It’s nice to see so many are able to give to those in need. When they put a paper angel on the tree, others are able to pick one and give to those in need. Those kids write down what they’d love for Christmas on the paper angels. This was such an amazing movie.

If you love Christmas movies as well as ones that are very touching, I’d highly recommend this movie. It’s the perfect movie for the holidays and really teaches you about what giving is all about.
