Can you believe how quickly the holidays are approaching?! Each year it seems to always go by so fast. One thing I always look forward to during the holidays, is watching all the holiday movies/shows on T.V. Holiday shows/movies are my favorites to watch. I love watching some of the same ones each year, and I also love being able to see new ones that they come out with.

I was recently send the movie The Nutcracker Sweet on DVD. Have you ever seen the actual Nutcracker movie? This movie is a bit similar to that, except it’s a kids version and it’s got a sweet twist on it as well.

The story beings on Christmas Even. The Silberhaus children Marie and Fritz receive an unexpected gift from their godfather. It’s a nutcracker doll! As most of you probably already know, there is something very special about the Nutcracker. In this movie they’re caught in the enchanted present’s spell, and the children are swept into a dangerous world. They will witness a great battle between a vast army of toy soldiers, led by the Nutcracker. They are going against a group of mice commanded by the evil Mouse King.

My youngest daughter Tesla enjoyed this movie. She watched it all the way through and was very in to the movie. She was always saying “oh no” when the mice were being mean. I’m glad she was able to enjoy the Nutcracker in a kids version.

If you loved the Nutcracker movie, why not let your kids see The Nutcracker Sweet. I’m sure they’ll enjoy it. I was happy to be able to let my daughters see this version. It was a very good movie.
