Opening cans can be a pain and even make a mess. What kind of can opener do you normally use? I usually use a hand can opener. I’ve always wanted an electric one because they open so much faster and are less of a pain to work with. It’s nice to be able to have your cans opened on their own. That way you don’t accidentally cut yourself or spill the continents of the can everywhere.

There is this product called the TouCan that can help you easily open up your cans of food. It works on batteries and cuts the cans itself. It’s as easy as pressing a button. First of all you want to remove the battery cover by pressing upwards on the tab located on the beak hook. Then you’ll want to put in four AA batteries. Next you can close the cover and give it a test by pressing the on/off button.

Then you can place the TouCan on top of the can so the edge of the can is between the cutting blade and wheel. You’ll see how I did it with the photo above. Next you can press the on/off button and watch as it rotates around the can. Once it’s gone all the way around the can you can press the button again and it will reverse and stop rotating. Once it stops you can lift the TouCan off the can and remove and dispose of the lid.

This is such an easy way to open up your cans and it’s very affordable as well. I love that it’s the size as a hand-held opener, but it still does the job on its own. Most electrical can openers take up so much space, so it’s nice to have the ToucCan that doesn’t take up a lot of space.

I’m very impressed with this can opener. It’s nice to finally not have to worry about opening cans with a hand-held can opener. I won’t have to worry about accidentally cutting myself on the can either. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had to dig for the top of the can before, and I’ve accidentally cut myself before. Nobody should have to dig for the top. It should come off easily, and now it will with the TouCan.
