Do you enjoy candy? I’m sure that most of us love to have candy sometimes. The Lovely Candy Co. started when Jackie asked her husband, Mike to go on a quest for her favorite candy, licorice. It had to be crafted with select ingredients, as well as gluten and GMO free. This is how it all began. This candy is great for those with food sensitivities. The candy is kosher, gluten-free, non-GMO, has zero trans fats, and no high fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients.
I was sent six of their bags of candy to try out. I received caramels, fudgee rolls, sea salt caramels, superfruit chews, licorice and cherry licorice. With the holidays right around the corner, they came at the perfect time. I think these could make for a great gift for the holidays too. I love to make gift baskets for all my friends and family, so it would be nice to put some of these candies in a basket for everyone.
The cherry licorice was really good. It was a bit different from what I’m use to, but very good. If you love red licorice, I’m sure you’ll love this as well. I like that they’re bite size too. I think it’s easier to eat when they’re in smaller pieces.
The licorice is just like black licorice. I know this is one of those things where you either like or hate black licorice. I’m one of those that loves it. This is why I really liked this kind of licorice.
The superfruit chews came in a few different flavors. They were definitely different and interesting. They were chewy, delicious and packed with flavors.
The banana fosters caramels were my favorite out of everything. These caramels were so chewy and delicious. I would have to say they are my favorite caramel I’ve had yet.
The chocolaty fudgee rolls taste similar to tootsie rolls to me. They were really good. I love how soft and chewy they were. If you love chocolate, I think you may like these.
The sea salt caramels were another of my favorites. I love a lot of candies that have sea salt in them. I think it makes them taste a bit different. It gives them a bit of a salty taste.
If you love candy, I hope that you’ll check out The Lovely Candy Co. They have some very good candies. They have a few other packs of candy that I wasn’t able to try out, but I’m sure they’re just as great as the ones I was able to try. All of these caramels were certainly my favorite.
