Do you enjoy drinking wine? I like to sit down and have a glass of wine every now and then. Normally just when I’m getting ready to relax and go to bed I’ll have a glass of wine. It’s not often that I have wine, so it’s nice to have some around the house for when I do decide to have some. What are some of your favorite kinds of wine? Do you enjoy red and white wines?

Leer Vineyards have two bottles of wines that I was able to try out. They’re the Heroic Red and Valiant White. A portion of the proceeds from each bottle sold benefits the military, warriors support foundation’s homes4woundedheroes & homes4goldstars programs, which provide mortgage free homes to combat wounded heroes and spouses of fallen heroes of Iraq and Afghanistan.

The white wine is a Moscato California wine. This one has aromas of peach and orange blossoms, the citrus flavors are intense, peaches, and tropical fruits dominate. This was my favorite out of the two, which is probably become I love white wine.

I really enjoyed this wine. I think it would be a great wine to pair with some desserts. I find it a great wine to have for a get together with family and friends. That way you can enjoy this nice white wine with some desserts while entertaining your guests.

The Heroic Red wine shows aromas of boysenberry with hints of leather, cedar and cigar tobacco. They have flavors of raspberry jam, chocolate and black pepper, with a faint escho of black tea on the long finish.

This wine was more of a dark wine with berries. This was definitely different from what I’m use to drinking. For me this one got better after drinking more of it. It definitely had many mixtures to it, which made it taste so different for me.

I would highly recommend these wines if you love red or white wine. Since the proceeds go to foundations, it’s an even better reason for grabbing some of these bottles of wine.
