WordWorld Building Readers is a great video that can teach children so many things. They can learn letter and word sounds, blending word parts into words and reading confidence. This is a wonderful show to help your kids learn by having fun. My youngest daughter loves to watch this show. She’s in preschool, so she’s been learning a lot of what this show teaches her. It’s wonderful when you have a show that kids can learn from.

This Be My Valentine movie was given to me in exchange for a review. Since my daughter already loved this show, I knew it was going to be a great one that she’s like to watch. There are five episodes to this movie, and those include:

  • My Fuzzy Valentine
  • Love, Bug
  • Sh-Sh-Shark!
  • Princess Sheep
  • There’s an Ant in Every Giant

Two of these five episodes are Valentine’s Day themed. Since Valentine’s Day is coming up soon, this would be a great choice for a kids movie. In one of these episodes it features Sheep working to create a valentine song for her best friend Bear. She ends up having trouble finding the right rhyme to finish her song. She gets help from Fly, who uncovers the perfect rhyme and makes Bear a valentine with real heart.  In “Love, Bug,” Bug wants to sign a valentine for his favorite WordFriend, but doesn’t know how to write his name. With lots of encouragement from Frog he learns that with a little practice he can write his name and give his valentine.

I definitely thought these were great episodes to help teach children a lot about words. My youngest absolutely loves this show and always talks about it. I know she had a lot of fun watching this movie. I hope that you’ll pick up your own copy for your kids.
