I’m so glad that Spring is just about here. Just about all the snow has melted here in Wisconsin. That means it’s getting closer to the time a lot of us may be thinking about taking a vacation. Do you have anything planned for a vacation for your family yet? We have no plans yet, but we hope to be able to go somewhere over the Summer break from school.

If you’re still looking for a place to go, you should think about Bear Lake Valley, Utah. Bear Lake is located between Salt Lake City, UT, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, & Jackson, WY. Some of the areas surrounding Bear Lake are:

Cache Valley

Bear Lake County, ID

Southeast Idaho

Yellowstone National Park

If your family loves to be outdoors and do many activities, then this would be the perfect place for a vacation for you. There are so many activities to do, including water sports, beaches, fishing, hiking, biking, ATV trails, camping, and glamping!

Since family vacations are something many of us take I wanted to share with you some of the things you can do as a family while in Bear Lake. Some of these include: spending a day at the beach playing in the white sandy beaches with crystal clear shallow shores of bear lake, also include renting kayaks and stand up paddle boards right on the beach, renting bikes to ride on the local bike path. What do you think about these? Don’t they sound like a lot of fun!? I know that my daughters would have a blast here.

Maybe you don’t do family travels, but you backpack or are an adventure traveler. There are many great things for you to enjoy as well. Backpackers can enjoy the trails that are found in the beautiful Wasatch Cache National Forest. If you are an adventure traveler, then you can find adventures anywhere. There are multiple locations to rent boats, jet skis, ATV’s, stand up paddleboards, kayaks, guided horseback rides and so much more!

I would love to experience the beautiful Bear Lake. The entire lake is 20 miles long and 8 miles across with intense, clear, turquoise blue water. I would absolutely love to experience this. My family loves to go swimming, so this would be the perfect chance for everyone to get out to such a beautiful lake and go swimming. You can see how clear the water is from all of the wonderful photos.

You could even go out on the lake to go fishing or just to check out all the fish! My daughters love to go fishing, so I know that they would enjoy this. They just went ice fishing for the first time about two weeks ago. I knew by seeing how much fun they had, that they’re going to love to go fishing more often. Bear Lake would be a great place for anyone to go that enjoys going fishing.

As you can see, there are many things to do in Bear Lake. I hope that you will think of taking a vacation here whether it’s with your family or by yourself. They have many activities to do for everyone. I certainly know my family would have a lot of fun here. I’m putting this on my list of places to travel as well. I would love to be able to explore this beautiful lake. It’s not often that you get to see such clear water either. What would you love to do while visiting Bear Lake?

Bear Lake Valley looks like a beautiful place to visit, and it’s located somewhere I’ve never really thought of vacationing. I’m going to have to get some more info. It looks like the kind of place we enjoy.

Oh my goodness, my Hubby lived in Utah for a while when he was a kid and talks about it’s beauty all the time. We keep discussing going back for a vacation, but haven’t done it yet. We need to get on it, though, because this looks amazing

On our way back from Yellowstone we drove by this like it is absolutely gorgeous. If we had more time we were going to stop and swim unfortunately we had to keep going.
