The Chew_An Essential Guide to Cooking and Entertaining

I love cooking for my family. I often find myself looking for newer recipes to make. I love to try out new foods, and if it’s something my family loves, that’s even better. I look online for many recipes, but I also love looking in cookbooks. I’m trying to cook healthier meals for my family, so those are the types of recipes I’m normally looking for.

How many of you have seen the show The Chew? I don’t watch this show often, but when I do I really love it. I don’t know why I don’t watch it more often because of how much I love the show. I like that they’re always making food right on the show. They show you some great healthier options for meals.

Recently I was provided with ABC’s hit show The Chew: An Essential Guide to Cooking and Entertaining. This is a cookbook with recipes from everyone on the show. There are some great recipes in here too. In this cookbook you’ll find the previous bestsellers, the five hosts of the hit ABC daytime show invite you to enjoy the fun and flavor of cooking without the hassle and expense.  Mario Batali, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly, Daphne Oz, and Michael Symon provide mouthwatering recipes and useful entertaining tips to make cooking for your family and friends simple, cost-effective, delicious, and fun. In this fourth cookbook from The Chew, the hosts bring their wit, wisdom, and practicality straight into your home.

More:

  • Answers to viewer questions that give you added details and insights from The Chew hosts
  • Delicious favorites handed down from the hosts’ families to yours
  • Mouthwatering meals that can be made ahead of time or in a slow cooker
  • Several innovative ways to put a new spin on a favorite recipe
  • A wide range of recipes from breakfast to dessert, from the lighter side to guilty pleasures, and everything in between

WP_20160418_10_45_26_Pro

This book is packed with many wonderful recipes that you may have already seen on The Chew. Each of these men/women have some of their very own recipes in the book. You’ll find photos of everyone in the book. You’ll even find questions people have had for them and they’ll answer those questions in the book.

This Chicken Potpie with Cheddar-Chive Biscuits is one of the recipes I found that looked amazing. I have always loved potpie, so I’m excited to try this one out sometime. I have never made potpies from scratch and my daughters have never tried them either. I’m thinking that this recipe is going to be something they’ll love. I can’t wait to make this one for dinner some night. I think it’s going to be a huge hit for the family.

If you love The Chew, then I hope that you’ll check out this cookbook. There are so many other amazing recipes in this book. If you have ever seen the recipes they make on the show, then I’m sure you’ll love this book.
