Overview of our Weekend

How did all of your weekends go? Hopefully you all had a great weekend and enjoyed it while it lasted. My daughters had a long weekend because they had early release Thursday and then no school on Friday. That means they had about a 3 1/2 day weekend! It’s always nice when my daughters are home so that we can spend some more time together.

Since it was decent out on Friday, I decided to take my girls to the school playground so that they could play. I even picked up one of their friends from school so that she could play with them as well. We have a decent playground at the school, so they had a lot of fun with that. They have many swings, slides, sandboxes, bars to climb across, and so much more. They actually have a separate play area just for Preschool kids. Otherwise the other playground is for Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Other then bringing the kids out to play, we didn’t do a whole lot over the weekend. My daughters played a lot with their toys as well as went outside and played out on our trampoline. They got a big trampoline for Christmas and we put it up maybe a little over a month ago so they could play on it. We also have chickens and one duck, so my girls love to go outside and see them often too.

On Sunday my girls wanted to have some waffles for dinner, because we have this Disney princess waffle maker. It makes crowns and a castle on the waffles. Since they’ve been wanting to use them, we made the waffles as well as some scrambled eggs. We love having breakfast for dinner! Breakfast foods are probably our favorite.

I hope that you all had a great weekend as well. Now that it’s Monday, most of us have to get back to work, or for those of us that blog we continue to work, right!? I blog every day, so I don’t get much of a break. Usually on the weekends I take some time off though. That way I can still enjoy some time with my girls…and that’s about it for my weekend! Not a whole lot went on for us, but we all still found some time to have some fun!
