Granola Fruit Cups

25 May, 2016 by KatBp 96 Comments

DSC_1507

I’m in a recipe challenge with Golden Girl Granola, and I had to come up with a dessert that included their granola. I was able to choose which granola I wanted, and I picked out the original one. I decided to make something with fruit since my family loves fruit.

I came up with this recipe and named it Granola Fruit Cups. They’re very simple to make and you won’t need a lot of ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Original Golden Girl Granola
  • 3 TBS Melted Butter
  • 1/3 Cup Honey
  • Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Fruit-I used bananas, strawberries and blueberries

Instructions: Mix the Golden Girl Granola, honey and melted butter in a bowl. Make sure that the oven is on 350 degrees. Next you’re going to want to spray a cupcake pan and put some of the mixture in the cupcake pan. What you want to do is press down in the middle of each of them to make an indent so that the toppings can be filled in the middle. You’ll want to bake these at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Once they’re done, pull them out of the oven and let them cool completely. Once they’re cooled you just top with some yogurt and your favorite fruit. It’s that easy! I find them to be a great summer treat.
