Tessemae’s-Lemon Garlic Grilled Chicken Salad

With summer here, it’s a perfect time to get on the right track with the foods we’re eating. One of my favorite healthy foods to eat, is a salad. There are so many ways to make salads. The opinions are endless! I love being able to eat salads since you can make them the way you want and you can switch up the ingredients often.

Tessemae’s  has organic dressings, marinades, and condiments which are perfect for salads. They use real, whole sourced food ingredients and are now certified USDA organic.

They make 25 different dressings, marinades, and condiments – offerings are USDA
organic certified, Whole30 approved, and contain no added sugar, thickeners, or additives –
unlike most salad dressings on the market.

These Tessemae’s dressings are great for a summer salad. I was sent four bottles of some of their dressings. I got the Green Goddess, Lemon Garlic, Balsamic and Honey Balsamic. All of these are great for making many different foods, but I find them great for salads. Since I love a great salad, I knew this would be a great chance to try out a salad with some of these dressings.

I’ve been wanting to make a grilled chicken salad, so I knew these dressings would work great for this. Lemon garlic is one of my favorite flavors, so that is the one I chose for making a grilled chicken salad.

DSC_0268

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Red Onion
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 1 Cup Cucumbers
  • 1 Cup Grilled Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 Cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Black Olives
  • 1/4 Cup Feta Cheese
  • 4 Leaves Romaine Lettuce
  • 1/2 Cup Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic Dressing

How to make it:

DSC_0253
You can first start by putting the lettuce in a bowl. For this salad I leave the lettuce at the bottom of the bowl and I don’t mix it with the other ingredients.

DSC_0251
Then I took all the other ingredients and cut them up in pieces for the salad. I then put them all in a bowl so that I could mix them together. The photo above shows you the salad before putting it over the lettuce and adding the dressing in.

DSC_0254Now the photo above is when I added the Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic dressing. I made sure to pour it over the top and mix everything all up.

That’s all there is to this salad. It’s very simple! It tastes great too! I’m very glad that I was able to try out these dressings. I thought this was the perfect one for this salad. I’ve always loved the lemon garlic flavor, so it was nice to be able to make something with it.

DSC_0262

They make a total of 25 marinades and condiments. All of these are USDA organic, gluten-free, non-gmo, vegan and whole30 approved. They contain no added sugar or xantham gum. You can find all these great products on Tessemae’s website. While you’re there you can use the coupon code TesseLove to get 10% off your order.

How many of you have tried Tessemae’s products before? I’d love to hear what you think about them. If you haven’t tried them yet, which of these flavors sounds best to you? What would you make with them?

I’ve been eyeing these salad dressings for some time now. I love salads during the summer because they aren’t as heavy as the usual dishes we have for lunch, so you feel light and refreshed. Which is why I make sure we have plenty of dressings to choose from. I would really like to test these flavors!
