It’s hard to believe that summer won’t be here much longer. I know there is still at least a month left, but that means back to school is already almost here! I know for some it’s already arrived. My daughters go back to school at the end of August. It gets a lot crazier around here when it’s back to school time. We have to do a lot of shopping and get everything ready for my daughters for when they start school again.

Back to school can put a lot of stress on you too. I think it’s important to be able to still have family fun while getting ready for kids to go back to school. Just because it’s getting closer for kids to go back to school doesn’t mean you still can’t have some family fun either! I believe now is the best time to have some family time before you won’t be able to do as much once the kids are back in school.

This is a great time to go enjoy some time with your kids. Fairs are always a fun idea. Around where I live the fairs are using going on right before school starts. It’s the perfect time to end your summer while enjoying time at the fair with your family. This is the way we normally end our summers too. We also have a lot to do around the house, like jumping on the trampoline, riding on our golf cart, and even playing with our chickens! There are many outdoor activities we find that we can do.

DSC_0294

Since the kids will be heading back to school soon, I find it very important to make sure to have the right foods on hand for their lunches. Meals are a very important part of their days, and I want to make sure they’re getting healthy and nutritious foods. I want my daughters to be able to enjoy their lunches, so I have to make it fun too.

With Nature’s Harvest Bread and Little Bites Snacks I can make them a great meal and add in the fun too! The Nature’s Harvest bread is baked with at least 8 grams of whole grains per serving, and has no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors or colors. The Little Bites Snacks are a wholesome, fun snack perfectly packaged for the lunchbox and made with real ingredients and never any High fructose corn syrup or Trans Fat. As you can tell, they’re great options for kids lunches.

I think it’s fun to be creative with kids lunches. I also think they’re more likely to eat something that looks fun too. I decided to make something out of a peanut butter sandwich. There are so many things you can come up with while making sandwiches. I was cutting out shapes and putting them together to see what I could come up with. I had a big circle and a heart, and was putting them by each other, and that’s when the idea of a fish came to mind.

Since I also had the Little Bites Snacks, I added that on for an eye for the fish. My daughters loved how this turned out too. They’re always excited to see all the creative ways that I can come up with while making lunches. I think it’s fun to make my daughters lunches for school just because of all the fun ways you can make their lunch.

You can find these products at Walmart. I was able to pick up some of the Nature’s Harvest Bread and the Little Bites Snacks. We were lucky enough to get the bread with Finding Dory on it. My girls loved that! These are both great selections for putting in kids lunches for the school year. My daughters love the Little Bites Snacks for snack time. They also love the Nature’s Harvest Bread when I get creative and make some different animals and other items out of the bread.

It’s very important to me to find the right foods for my daughters. I love to pick out items that are more healthy for them, yet they have to love them as well. I’ve been very lucky with my daughters because they enjoy their fruits and vegetables, but sometimes you need to switch it up with other items too. That’s why the Little Bites Snacks were such a great options for my daughters for snacks. I also make sandwiches for them often, so the Nature’s Harvest Bread was a great choice because of the whole grain nutrition. That’s always something I look for in breads.
