How many of you have kids that love craft items? My daughters love to do all kinds of arts & crafts. Now is the perfect time to get them some items for them to do too. They start school in just a couple of weeks, so I love doing arts & crafts with them over summer vacation. It’s a great way to keep the kids busy too. It can be hard when school is out because kids can often get bored. How many of you have already had your kids say they were bored at least once throughout summer? My girls have said it at least once.
Luckily I was able to get some items from Dreamland Fairy to review for my daughters. These go along with arts & crafts, so I was excited to show my girls these when they arrived. Of course they were excited to paint them because painting is one of their favorite things to do.
I was able to get two different Fairy items because I have two daughters. They got the tooth fairy fort and the fairy house. Both of these came with a paintbrush and paints so that my girls could paint them the way they wanted. The house came with some glitter that was called fairy glitter so they could sprinkle it over the house. The fort came with some items to make it look more like a fort, like leaves, sticks (pipe cleaners) and more!
My daughters had a lot of fun painting their fairy items. Since painting is one of their favorite things to do, I knew they would enjoy this a lot. They lot to paint all kinds of things, but I think this was one of their favorites to paint. The excitement in their faces when they took them out to paint them was amazing! It’s always great seeing how much fun your kids can have when you get them something new. I love to see their creative sides too. They both painted them with such wonderful colors!
My daughter Mercades is the one who painted the fairy fort. It came with this little treasure chest as well. Since it’s a tooth fairy fort, the treasure chest is great for putting your teeth in once you lose one. You can leave it there for the tooth fairy to come and get it. We’re going to do this with it the next time Mercades loses a tooth. We thought this was such a great idea too. She was able to paint her very own tooth fairy fort for the tooth fair to come take her tooth and leave money behind for her. She’s very excited to lose another tooth so that she can use this for the tooth fairy. It’s certainly going to come in handy for both of my girls.
My daughter Tesla is the one who painted the fairy house. She was really excited that she got to sprinkle fairy dust all over it. The fairy dust is just glitter that you can sprinkle all over the house. We sprinkled a lot of the fairy dust on the top of the house. You can the glitter from the photo above on the roof where it’s red. All the pieces that are shiny on top are from the glitter. I thought this was a neat house too! Tesla was able to open up the doors to the house too!
Each of these sets also came with books that go along with the products. My daughters certainly had a lot of fun painting their products! They were very happy with the way they turned out too. They still play with them all the time and use many other characters to play inside their forts/houses. It’s fun to be able to see how much they enjoy them and see them get so creative and have such a great imagination.
These are great products for those of you out there that have kids that love painting. I’m sure if they do, then they’re going to love these! You can check them out HERE to get more information on them as well as order your very own. I hope your kids enjoy them as much as mine did.
