There are a ton of movies on this list that I plan to watch with my daughters. These were movies I watched growing up, so I want them to experience these movies as well. We all sit down as a family each week and pick out a movie. We don’t always get to watch one a week, but we try.
About Dennis the Menace
Hank Ketcham’s popular comic-strip kid comes to uproarious screen life in Dennis the Menace, from writer/producer John Hughes, the creative force behind the family mega-hits Home Alone and Beethoven. Young Mason Gamble is all-boy, all-menace, all-Dennis right down to his slingshot and dog, Ruff.
If you have been following along with my movie journey, you know that I always make something to go along with the movie. This time my daughters and I decided to go with an ice cream charcuterie board. Everyone was extremely excited about this one. We got different kinds of ice cream with a lot of different toppings. I don’t know if I’d say this necessarily went with the movie, but I remember being a kid and they had Dennis the Menace at Dairy Queen for a while, so I thought that would be fun. Of course ice cream is always a favorite dessert too, so we knew this would be a good one for the movie.
I remember seeing Dennis the Menace as a child, and I loved the movie. I also remember the T.V. series and seeing that as well. It was always a great show to watch. I’m glad I got to see this one with my daughters. This was one I had always enjoyed, and was glad to share with them. I’m glad that they really liked the movie as well. Dennis is always messing with his neighbor by doing tricks on him and such, so it is a bit of a funny movie. I’ve always enjoyed seeing the tricks he does on him, even when they’re definitely not nice.
If you have never seen Dennis the Menace, I would recommend seeing it. I always thought it was a good watch. It had been awhile since I have seen this movie, and I’m glad I got the chance to share it with my daughters. This movie was just how I remembered it. A great one for sure. You can always grab the movie off AMAZON too.

Watching classics with the kiddos is always a blast, and Dennis the Menace sounds like a riot. Ice cream charcuterie board? Genius! It might not be a movie snack staple, but hey, anything to make movie night extra special, right? I’m totally adding this one to our watch list

I think it is still a wonderful movie. I’ve loved it ever since I saw it as a kid. I love the old classic movies though.
WOW, the memories I have of this movie. This movie was huge back in the day and I’m so glad my kids enjoy it even now. Such a funny movie.

What a fun and on-theme snack board! I honestly almost forgot about Dennis the Menace but I’ll have to remind my DIL of it- she tells me about the movie nights she has with my grandson and I bet this would be a fun one!d
