Fashion Dolls Giveaway

Have you heard of MGAE toys? I’ll bet you have and didn’t even know it. They make all those wonderful dolls that your daughter loves so much. Bratz, NoviStars, Moxie Girlz, Bratzillaz, and even Lalaloopsy. I recently got to work with them to bring you a review of some of their most wanted fashion dolls for the holiday season.

Gwen was so excited to be able to help me review them. She’s been wanting a NoviStars doll since she first saw them on tv a few months ago. They are these cool little alien girls. Each one has its own unique personality and characteristics! Gwen received Mae Tallick. She talks in a robotic voice and says “out of this world” phrases. When we first opened her up, her hair fell off. It was the funniest thing! Gwen got so mad at me. “MOM! You ripped her hair off; you already broke my doll” I felt terrible. Turns out her hair comes off because she’s an alien. She also comes with her little pet, an alien teddy bear looking–thing in the handle of the box turns into a tiara for your own little Princess!

Another of the great dolls we got to play with was a Bratzillaz doll. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year and one of my favorite costumes is a witch. So guess who we chose? Jade J’Adore. By now you know that I have a tattoo artist husband– that should tell you that we all like tattoos around here. All of the Bratzillaz dolls have what they call a “witchmark”.Jade’s witchmark is a heart arrow; her special magic power is that she can heal a broken heart. All of the Bratzillaz have pets But they don’t come with them. Gwen was kind of upset about that. So I guess Jade’s pet, Kissifuss, will be on Santa’s list. She likes Jade, though, and plays with her a lot. (This was my favorite doll by far)

Next on our list was a Bratz Boutique doll. We got Yasmin Chic and Company. This set includes the doll, lots of accessories (including shoes, earrings, and even a price tag) and two outfits. DO NOT throw out your box after you get your doll & all her goodies out. It turns into the boutique. I think this one was Gwen’s favorite of all. She played with it for hours. This is her first Bratz doll. She loved the fact that came with earrings and sunglasses and was tickled that the boots would fit in the shoe box. It was easy to set up. The only thing we had to put together was the mannequin, and all I had to do was add a leg.

We also received a Moxie Girlz Bubble Bath Surprise doll. Gwen loves to take a bath but can’t take a lot of them so she got to play with her in the sink. It comes with a cute removable sparkly sponge skirt so that she can float. The skirt also has secret holes for her very own dogfish and bottle of bubbles. The dogfish is very cute but awfully small. The recommended age from the box is three and up but I really recommend not giving this to a three-year-old unless they are over the putting things in their mouth stage or you are watching them very closely. The doll floats nicely with her skirt. The Moxie Girlz “are all about individuality and confidence and expressing who they are”.

The last on this kind of long list was a Lalaloopsy RC Scooter. Gwen has had an amazing time with this thing. She’s taken it outside on the sidewalk, chased the dog, and even made her poor Lalaloopsy doll do wheelies. The scooter is larger than I thought it would be but fits her doll perfectly. It even has a seatbelt to keep the doll safe (and believe me, she needs it – Gwen drives like her mother!). The remote is shaped like a button and is very easy to use. Simply push left to go forward or right to turn. There is a popcorn basket on the front if your Lalaloopsy has to get groceries or even needs to take her pet for a ride!
