Lokai Bracelet Review/Giveaway

19 November, 2013 by KatBp 9 Comments

Do you love to wear jewelry? Normally I wouldn’t wear a lot of jewelry unless I’m going out somewhere nice. Usually I just wear my studded earrings and my wedding ring. Sometimes I’ll put a bracelet on and occasionally a necklace. When I heard about the Lokai bracelet I just knew I was going to love to wear it.

The Lokai bracelet is suppose to represent the highs and lows of life. I’m very happy to be able to wear this bracelet. This will give me a reminder of all the highs and lows of my own life. This bracelet has a lot of clear beads, one black bead and one white bead. It’s actually infused with elements from the high and low points on Earth.

highs

The white bead represents the highs of life. This bead actually has some water from Mount Everest.  Mount Everest is the highest point on Earth, which is why this was chosen for this bead.

lows

The black bead represents the lows in life. This bead has mud from the dead sea inside. The Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earth.

The name lokai was inspired by the Hawaiian word Lokahi meaning unity and to blend opposites. All the clear beads surrounding the black and white beads are suppose to represent your own story.  Life has highs and lows, every point in-between is just as meaningful – these points make up the fabric of your own story.

This bracelet was very nice and I’m proud to wear mine. I love that it slides on nicely and it’s rubbery. The beads are very squishy and it’s hard not to want to open them up and see what’s inside. I would never want to do that and ruin my bracelet though. I love that it’s filled with the highs and lows of Mount Everest and the Dead Sea.

For everyone one of these bracelets sold, 10% of the proceeds will be dedicated to giving back to the community through a variety of charitable alliances. I think these would make very nice gifts as well.

If you’d like to win a Lokai bracelet make sure to enter below. This giveaway is for the US only and will run from 11/21-12/5. Good luck to everyone.

Random question – what size did you get? I’m thinking about getting one, but don’t want a really small/large one. Thanks for the help!

I don’t really remember but I’m sure I went with small. But then again my wrist is really small so I had to go with that. You can always go with medium if you want a size in between large and small.
