Simply Delicious Green Smoothie

30 May, 2014 by KatBp 1 Comment

IMG_1732I love to use my NutriBullet to make all kinds of smoothies. I always just throw a bunch of stuff in and see what it tastes like. Normally I wouldn’t eat most vegetables, but when you put them in the NutriBullet you don’t really taste them. I’ve never been able to taste any greens when I add them with my smoothies. It’s a great way to get in your vegetables for the day.

I decided to try something new that I usually don’t add with my smoothies. Sometimes it’s great to get in some nuts/seeds so I decided to put sunflower seeds in this smoothie. It’s great to get those in your diet as well.

This recipe calls for:

  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 tbs sunflower seeds
  • 2 handfuls Kale
  • 1 banana
  • Add some water to the max fill line as well.

If you don’t have the NutriBullet you can use any other blender but I highly recommend using the NutriBullet. I haven’t went back to any other blender since I got the NutriBullet. It helps chop everything up so you’re not getting any chunks in your drinks.

If you give this a try you’ll have to let me know what you think.
