Alphie the Squid App Review

13 August, 2014 by KatBp 6 Comments

Disclosure: I received this app in exchange for a review as well as compensation. The opinions are all 100% my own and may differ from yours. Banner-web-tent-card Alphie the Squid is an app available for Google Play, the App Store and Amazon. This is a mobile game that features Alphie, the squid, who is an adorable little squid who grows as the game goes on. You’ll be able to make him bigger and bigger. The game is featured as the “Best New Game Update” on the App Store in 110 countries. Isn’t that amazing?! It is a great game for kids of all ages and even adults too. I played it and I loved it! What’s even better, is that it’s only $2.99. Right now $1 for every download on the App Store will support the nonprofit aquarium’s Children’s Education Fund. I think that’s an amazing thing to do. I’ve always supported companies that are willing to donate.  shark-encounter Kids will be able to navigate Alphie throughout the game with just a finger. To make him move you only have to drag your finger across the screen. Alphie starts off on an adventure with his mom. With your first mission you’ll be able to play Alphie’s mother. She’ll teach him everything he needs to know. Unfortunately in the second level his mother gets chased off by a white shark, so Alphie is out on his own. Even though it’s really sad, I think it can teach children a lot about sea life. They’ll be able to help Alphie go through all the levels and go through some dangers as well. Alphie will begin his journey to search for his mother. flexing I’m extremely happy with the beautiful graphics. They’re really clear and so amazing. Even the music is beautiful. I think it goes really well with the underwater sea life. It’s the perfect music for the perfect setting of this game. I also think it’s a very nice and relaxing atmosphere, especially for the children. It’s the perfect game for any child. Kids will be able to go through vortexes to get to the next level/mission. Shark-chase As most of us know, fish will eat other fish. It’s how the world works and kids may not understand this. That’s why this is such a great game. It will teach kids all about the living creatures and what they do underwater. You’ll see a heart on the top of the screen and that goes up when Alphie gets his food. He eats eggs as well as fish. If you’re looking for an app for your children, than this would be a great app for them. They’ll learn a lot about underwater. My kids and I have a lot of fun with this. We all really love it. The app is rated a 4.5 out of 5 stars on the App store. You can download the game on: iTunes GooglePlay Amazon Also check them out on their social media: Facebook Google + Twitter Disclosure: I received this app in exchange for a review as well as compensation.
