Casio

Do you enjoy music? I listen to music every day. It’s always been a huge part of who I am. I don’t know what I’d do without music. Have you ever tried playing your own music or playing a song on a keyboard? When I was little I use to play music on keyboards all the time. I remember I had an organ for a while and I use to learn to play songs on that as well.

Casio has some great pianos and keyboards. They recently sent me the compact CTK-2400 keyboard to review. I knew this was going to be a big hit with my daughters as well as myself. I’ve always loved to play music.

Below are some of the features:

  • Sound EFX Sampler
  • Built-in Microphone
  • Step-up learning system
  • 400 Keyboard Voices
  • 48 Note Polyphony
  • 150 Rythms
  • 110 Songs

I couldn’t believe how big this keyboard was. I wasn’t expecting it to be so big. It’s great that it’s a bigger sized keyboard, because it feels more like a piano this way. My daughters and I have been playing on it every day since we received it. I’ve even learned how to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. That song was simple to learn how to play. I’m excited to learn how to play other songs.

There are so many great options that come with this keyboard. There is a microphone where you can record anything you want. My daughters have had a lot of fun with the microphone. You can even change the sound of your voice after recording it. You just have to use different keys and get a different sound in your voice.

There are also tones, rhythms and song banks. My daughters love to listen to the songs, especially Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I personally love using the different tones. It’s nice to be able to make the music sound so different with all the different tones.

There was even a stand for the books to sit on. It’s always nice to have the books resting on something while you’re playing. This way you can read all the notes to practice the songs. It’s very helpful to have something to have the books standing on. The book in the photo is the one that came with this keyboard. It’s got 90 songs in it.

This is an amazing keyboard. I would recommend this to anyone is loves to play music and wants to practice playing some songs. My daughters are 4 and 5 (soon to be 6) and they love the keyboard. I can’t wait to start teaching them how to play some of the songs. Right now they love using the microphone and just making their own music.

You can check out Casio for all their pianos and keyboards. They’ve also got some accessories as well. The Casio compact CTK-2400 is definitely the keyboard to get.

My daughter has been inquiring about piano lessons. This would be a great option for her. I can not afford a big huge piano but this is very doable!

This looks like a great keyboard. Keyboards are perfect when you can’t fit a full size piano in your home.

I have wanted one of these since I was a kid! Now that I’m adult and can buy whatever I want, I think I might just have to make a purchase, haha.

What a great keyboard! My casio from the 90’s still works, and my kids love to bang on it when they visit their grandparents 300 miles away. I will have to look into having one closer to home for them to try- playing piano is a great love of mine and I hope to pass that on!

I have always wanted my kids to have piano lessons! I wonder how closely related a piano and keyboard are? I would much rather have this than a bulky piano.

They’re pretty similar besides the keyboard is way smaller. Casio has both pianos and keyboards. I love their brand!
