Every year approximately 250,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer – it’s the most common cancer and leading cause of cancer death among Hispanic and Latina women. Allstate has partnered with Hollye Jacobs, New York Times bestselling author of “The Silver Lining,” to help women diagnosed with breast cancer as well as their friends and families. Empowering women to take control of their health and happiness, Allstate and Jacobs are on a mission to connect women nationwide by providing a free silver lining companion guide to everyone impacted by breast cancer– and launched the Spanish version of the guide last Thursday, May 14.
Hollye was a vegan-eating, marathon-running, 39-year-old mom and registered nurse when she was diagnosed. Today, the cancer survivor wants people to be prepared with early detection and the tools they need to find their silver linings.
