Do your children love to brush their teeth? My daughters don’t always want to brush their teeth, but I always make sure they do. Sometimes you have to think of some fun ways to get your children to brush their teeth. I normally use those hourglass timers that you flip over. My daughters have ones with a shape of a tooth on top that they can turn over and it will run for two minutes. Two minutes were always the average time we were told to brush our teeth.
If you’re looking for a very fun way to get your children to brush their teeth, than check out some of the newest products from Firefly. They have these really neat new toothbrushes and even mouthwash. All of these toothbrushes are timed for one minute. Since it’s only one minute, I always make sure my daughters use the timer twice so that they’re getting the full two minutes of brushing their teeth.
I was given some of these products to review. I was sent some Hello Kitty and Spiderman mouth rinse as well as some of the Star Wars Lightsaber light up timer toothbrushes and ready go light up timer toothbrushes. Each of these toothbrushes light up, which are great for the kids. My daughters love that these toothbrushes light up. It makes brushing their teeth a lot better.
My daughters love the ready go light up timer toothbrushes. These are just like a stop light. When your child starts brushing their teeth they can press a button to get it to light up. It will start with green, then yellow and then red. Green means to keep brushing, yellow means you’re almost done and red means you can stop brushing. It’s a wonderful way for kids to have fun while brushing their teeth, and it helps them brush long enough too.
The mouth rinses are very easy for kids to use. They have cups stored at the bottom so children can easily measure out the correct amount on their own. The pumps make it easier for them as well. This way they can pump out the mouth rinse in to the cup. These are sugar-free, alchol-free and they contain fluoride to help fight cavities and strengthen enamel.
The lightsaber toothbrushes will light up and make sounds. You’ll hear some great Star Wars sound effects with these toothbrushes. If you have kids that are Star Wars fans, I’d highly recommend these toothbrushes. They’re made just like the lightsabers from Star Wars.
I would highly recommend these products from Firefly if you have children that don’t like to brush their teeth. Even if they do, these are some fun products for them to make brushing their teeth even better.

My son would love this. My kids actually like brushing it’s the dental flossing I have to chase after them for. I bet if they had a glow in the dark dental floss it wouldn’t be any problem lol

They’re really neat products. I love how they’re always coming out with these great toothbrushes.
I love these products! Making toothbrushes fun and interactive is such a big thing for kids. Since oral health is so important for overall health, we have to emphasize the importance of good oral hygiene. This is definitely a wonderful way to encourage kids to stay excited about teeth brushing.
Well said! I think it’s very important as well and to make kids want to brush their teeth is even better.
Sometimes my kids love brushing their teeth, but other times, they hate it! This looks like a really great product to try, especially when my kids are not loving teeth-brushing time! My daughter would love the Hello Kitty one!
I hope you’ll be able to check them out. My daughters love all the toothbrushes. They have a lot more fun brushing their teeth with them.
These are such adorable products. When I have children, I definitely want to make brushing fun for them, and this is the perfect toothbrush and mouthwash set!
They are fun for kids for sure! Firefly always comes out with some great products!
I wish they had such things when I was growing up. I remember how much I didn’t like mint toothpaste because it burned my mouth. But in the 80s, parents didn’t pay much attention to making sure everything was fun… I brushed my teeth and that was that.
I agree! It would have been fun to have all of these products when I was younger as well. I’m just glad my daughters are able to enjoy them now.
I love the Firefly toothbrushes, we have a couple of really fun ones here too. Anything that makes a chore like this more of a fun routine for kids is great. These would be awesome stocking stuffers too!
They do make great stocking stuffers. My daughters may be getting some more for their stockings this year.
They are great stocking stuffers for sure. My daughters may be getting more for their stockings this year.
Kids do need a little motivation to brush the full two minutes. I have to find these light saber toothbrushes for my boys! They have toothbrushes that light up but how fun for it to play the Star Wars themed music…. perfect stocking stuffer idea. A mom in my baby sign language class was just asking me yesterday if I had any tips in regards to helping her toddler cooperate with brushing teeth, I will have to share this with her!
That’s great to hear! I hope she’s able to get some of these products. They truly are very helpful for children.
I really wish these Firefly tooth brushes had been around when my daughter was young. She is 25 now so might have children of her own one day and she will be lucky enough to use these Firefly tooth brushes. I can’t imagine too many children not enjoying these. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome. I’ve heard a lot of children loving these products. I’m so glad my girls do.
Is it bad that I kind of want some of these kids products… for myself? Hehe! I don’t have kids (yet) but I know my nephews have a tough time of getting their teeth brushed. I babysat them once. I think all they did was put a bit of water in their mouths and swished the brush around. I had to smell their breath to see if they in fact … brushed. Hahahahah… gross. 🙂
I think they’re neat myself too. I honestly would probably use them too. hehe. 🙂
I’ll have to check into the Firefly products. My eight-year-old son would definitely love it. It can be a struggle to get him to brush his teeth without prompting. With fun toothbrushes like that he’d (hopefully) happily go do it without being told.
I hope he loves them. I’m guessing he will!
My kids have always love the FireFly light up brushes! I am so glad that they are making different designs now! I will have to check them out for the kids! Thank you for sharing this!
You’re welcome. I’ve loved all their products as well! I’ve had a few of their other designs and my girls love them all.
