Beauty and the Beast

9 June, 2017 by KatBp 48 Comments

Since the release of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was out a few days ago, I wanted to be able to make something that went well with this movie. Since we all know the rose does play a big part in this movie, I decided to make something that went with the rose in the movie.

What you’ll need

Scissors

Hot Glue

Wooden Dowel

Mason Jar

Red Tissue Paper

What you’re going to want to do first, is to get 3 pieces cut out like I have above.

Next you want to fold them like I have above. Fold them about three times.

Next you’ll want to cut them so that they look like the photo above.

Next you want to use the dowel to hot glue it to one of the pieces of tissue paper. Make sure the round part of the tissue paper is on top. Keep rolling it up til it’s all the way rolled. Then you just use the other two pieces of tissue paper and roll those up as well. Make sure you keep gluing them so they stay.

When you’re done rolling those up, they should look similar to the photo above.

Then you want to take the dowel and glue it to the lid.

I added some glitter to my jar, but you don’t have too. I just thought it would look a bit nicer with some glitter on it. That’s all there is too it though. It’s a very simple craft.

About Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

Fans who bring home “Beauty and the Beast” can celebrate the release with three ways to watch the movie – the original theatrical cut, the premiere cut with overture, and a musical experience with a sing-along version.  The release invites viewers to get up close and personal with the filmmakers and cast to see how this beloved animated film was transformed into a new live-action classic, from the first enchanted table read to a fascinating look at how the film was brought to life utilizing lavish sets, elaborately designed costumes and props, and state-of the-art technology. A feature on the amazing women behind the enchanted tale hosted by Emma Watson; and over 10 minutes of deleted scenes along with musical extras, including the “Beauty and the Beast” music video starring Ariana Grande and John Legend, Celine Dion’s heartfelt take on the new song “How Does a Moment Last Forever,” and jump directly to all you favorite unforgettable songs.

This is beautiful! I have wanted a rose in a dome for years from Beauty and the Beast, but they are so expensive (over $150!). This is a great craft and I can’t wait to make it. I just need to find the right jar.

There are many ways to make them too. You can use fake flowers if you want as well.
