I am so excited for the anniversary edition of Cinderella! This has been one of my favorite Disney movies ever since I was a child. I just love all the Disney movies, new and old. They’re the best! I’m very excited to be able to share this movie with my daughters. We’ve watched many Disney movies together, but I think this is one they haven’t seen the whole movie of yet. Recently added to the prestigious National Film Registry, the animated classic centers on kind and hardworking Cinderella, who is ordered around by her cruel stepmother, her awful stepsisters — even the big clock in the church tower tells her when to start another day of drudgery. But they can’t stop her from dreaming, and Cinderella has faith that someday her wishes will come true. When an invitation to the royal ball arrives, Cinderella is sure her time has come — until her stepsisters, with the encouragement of Lady Tremaine, tear her gown to shreds. Just when Cinderella believes all is lost, her Fairy Godmother appears, and with a wave of her wand and “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo,” transforms an ordinary pumpkin into a magnificent coach and Cinderella’s rags into a gorgeous gown, then sends her off to the Royal Ball. But Cinderella’s enchanted evening must end when the spell is broken at midnight. Cinderella has been one of my favorite Disney movies ever since I was a kid. I’m so glad they’re returning with a 70th anniversary. I can’t believe how long its been since it was first out either.
They were nice enough to send this nice Cinderella apron that I could make myself. It’s so simple to make too, and it looks amazing! Just like the apron Cinderella wears in the movie.
Check out this cute Cinderella sewing kit! I just love all the mice in the movie. They’re some of my favorite characters. They’re the cutest! I also love how much they love to help out Cinderella. I know my daughters love this kit since you can make them in to a plush, plus the packaging turns in to a bed for them too!
