My family enjoys playing all kinds of games. We love having family game nights, and we do this often. It’s something I’ve always enjoyed doing ever since I was little, and I want to be able to share that with my family now. There are so many different kinds of games out there, but we have always enjoyed family game night with Goliath and Pressman. My kids have always loved games from this company.
We recently got a few of their games, and have been having a blast playing them all. We’ve got Googly Eyes ShowDown, Banana Blast, Harry Potter Spellcasters Game, Gator Golf, and Carmen Sandiego ACME’S Most Wanted.

Think you know who stole the loot and where they hid it? Hustle over the Isle of V.I.L.E. to announce your accusation and stop the bad guy in his tracks! Do you have what it takes to right this V.I.L.E. wrong?
- Based on the hit new animated series from Netflix
- Race around the world to deduce the loot stolen, the location it was stolen from, and the V.I.L.E. Henchman who did it!
- Features incredible artwork from the show
-
Learn about locations and loot while you save the day!
Carmen Sandiego was one of our favorites. We really enjoy a good thinking and challenging game like this one. We all were able to be Carmen Sandiego and try to figure out where the loot was hidden. You get to travel all over the board and ask others questions to try to figure out where the loot is hidden. My daughters and I love games like these where we get to try to figure out what happened. It can be challenging, and we love that.
About:
Swing into fun with Banana Blast! Roll the die to see how many bananas you get to pick from the tree top. One of the bananas will make Banana Joe jump, but it’s a different banana every time. If the monkey jumps, all the players must try to catch him before he hits the ground. The player who catches Banana Joe gets a bonus! Whoever has the most bananas, wins!
-
Players pull bananas from the tree top until the monkey jumps!
-
Keeps kids engaged because every player gets a chance to catch the monkey
-
A game of mounting excitement, reflexes, and hand-to-eye coordination
-
For 2-5 players, ages 4 and up
My daughters and I have played Banana Blast a lot already. This is definitely one of their favorites. You get to start pulling out all the bananas and hope that you catch the monkey when it comes out. Of course you have to use the dice to determine how many you can take out, or maybe how many you give away or steal too. This is definitely a great game for kids.

A charade game with a magical spin! Are you ready for some WAND-erful fun?
The Spellcaster draws a card that has a magical spell printed on it, keeping it hidden from view of their teammates. Using the wand, they trace the shape of the spell in the air. The first person who guesses the correct spell gets to keep the card and become the next Spellcaster! Collect the most spell cards, and you’re the winner!
-
Guess the spell correctly to win the card. Collect the most cards to win!
- Great for Harry Potter fans of all ages!
- Fun, easy-to-learn gameplay.
- For 3-8 players, ages 6 and up.
We are big fans of Harry Potter, so we were really excited for this game. This one can be a bit more challenging. You don’t have to play with all the cards at once either if you don’t want too. In this game, you get to cast all the spells yourself. Using the card you draw out, you have to try to cast that spell while everyone else is going to guess which spell it is you cast. In the end, whoever got the most right, wins!
About:
Get ready to be wild and wacky with Googly Eyes Showdown! It’s the epic battle that challenges your vision and will leave you googling for more! Teams of players put on the zany, vision-distorting glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you’re drawing. Players take turns drawing and guessing, so everyone gets a chance to wear the glasses. The glasses come with six sets of lenses that range from mild changes to mind-blowing fun, so no one can see (or draw) straight. Based on the best-selling Googly Eyes game.
-
Players put on the vision distorting glasses and try to draw a challenge
-
If you guess what your team member drew before time runs out, you win!
-
Simple rules with fast gameplay and hilarious results
If you have played Googly Eyes before and loved it, then you are going to love Googly Eyes ShowDown. In Googly Eyes, you have to try to draw out something that is on the card you got, and wear the glasses. Depending on which lenses you get, they will be harder or easier to see out of. It’s so much fun trying to draw when you can’t see to well though. You may not even recognize what you drew in the end. As you are on teams, you must try to figure out what the other team is drawing. This game is a great one for the whole family to enjoy!

Gator Golf is a simple and fun game for kids. What you want to do, is get the ball in the gators mouth. It’s just like playing golf, except you are using the gator as the hole. Once you get it in his mouth, it will pop right back out. Whoever gets three in first, is the winner!
All these games have been so much fun for my family. We have really been enjoying them all a lot. We play these ones very often too. It’s always fun when you get new games to try out with the family.
