Screwdrivers are a must for everyone. There have been many times when I’ve needed a screwdriver. I love to have the WORX cordless one around because it works wonderful. It’s very lightweight, weighing at just 1.5 lbs., and comes in a case. The case is great for keeping it stored. I’ll be able to easily find this when I need it.
It comes with a lot of heads and bits that you’ll need for all kinds of jobs. It works great for jobs such as, installing blinds and drapes, kitchen and bathroom hardware, door sets and hinges, lighting fixtures, electric cover plates and many other everyday home projects and repairs.
The dual LED lights work once you press the button to start using the screwdriver too. This is great for helping you see in certain areas. I’ve had problems before with regular screwdrivers where I couldn’t tell where the screw was, and it made it difficult to get the job done. I love that this comes with lights so that I can easily get jobs done by having the lights shine where I need them.
With the quick push of a button, the tool gets to work. There are arrows where you can push up or down, which control whether you’re screwing the screw in, or taking it out. The up is to screw it in, and the down is to get the screw back out. There is also a three speed button. This is great for picking the speed you’d like it set on. If you want it faster, you can go up to the max. It can operate at a speed of 300 (no-load) rpm. Once the icon on the handle is pressed, you can choose between the three torque levels: one light indicates 22 in-lbs; two lights indicate 33 in-lbs; and three lights indicate 44 in-lbs.
Since this is a cordless WORX screwdriver, it comes with a USB-C Charging Cable. This works great at keeping it charged at all times. The battery recharges in 1.5 hours, has a (no-load) run time of 45 minutes and holds a charge up to 18 months. It can even connect to a cell phone’s A/C plug or directly to a tablet or laptop computer’s USB port. Amazing, right?!
The overmold rubber handle has a sure grip and comfortable operation. It makes it great for holding on to in a comfortable way. It’s nice to have the grip for when you’re using it.
With the holidays coming up, this could make for a great gift for someone on your list too. I know a couple people on my list that would love to have this tool.
