Lots of Protein
I’ve enjoyed being able to try out this protein powder. It’s been great for my daily protein intake. I’ve been able to get some protein in and it’s really delicious too. I love being able to make different drinks with it. I’m trying to be overall healthier, so having a protein shake a day has been helpful. I’ve always enjoyed protein shakes as it’s a great way to get your protein in. With Orgain sport protein I’m able to do just that. It has 30 grams of protein, which is huge! That is going to help so much with getting the protein in daily. I’m very thrilled to see the great amount of protein in this protein powder. Protein Smoothie
One of my favorite things to make with protein powder is a smoothie. I love smoothies! I used the recipe on the back of the container for this, except I used peanut butter instead of almond butter. It turned out amazing! I love it. I can’t wait to continue to keep making smoothies. There are so many options when it comes to protein powder. You can even make recipes with it. The options are endless.
If you have a difficult time getting protein in, then I suggest Orgain protein products. It’s the best way to get in a lot of protein daily. Without this product, I don’t think I’d even be able to get in my recommended daily protein. I am excited to give more of their products a try as well, and I’m especially excited to start making recipes using the protein powder. I even made a mug cake with the Orgain protein powder, and it turned out delicious! The recipe is below if you’d like to give it a try. It’s got banana in it, so if you like the flavor of bananas too, you’ll probably love this. I enjoyed this a lot. I love making mug cakes. They’re a lot of fun and very delicious!
Chocolate Protein Mug Cake
Ingredients
- 1 Banana
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1 tbsp Orgain Chocolate Protein Powder
- 1 tbsp Chocolate Chips (Extra for the topping)
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
- Chocolate Syrup
Instructions
- First you want to mash up the banana in a bowl. Try to mash it up so there are not to many lumps.
- Now you want to add the egg to the banana and continue to mix it up.
- Add in the cocoa powder and the protein powder and mix until smooth. This part may take a little bit to get it all mixed up good.
- Now you can add in the chocolate chips. You could add in another tablespoon if you want more, but I prefer just one tablespoon. Mix that all up.
- Pour the mixture into a microwave safe mug.
- Heat in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes.
- Now top it with all your toppings! I used ice cream, chocolate syrup and chocolate chips. You can use whatever else you'd like as well. Enjoy!

This looks great! I can’t do most protein powders though because I am allergic to milk… Do you know if there is any whey in it?
This particular one is vegan and plant based, so no whey in it. Some of them do have it, but from the looks of it, a lot of them are plant based and vegan.
Never thought to use protein powder in a delicious treat such as that. I usually just made smoothies.
