Summer is almost over and Fall is coming up so soon. Can you believe how quick summer went by?! I’m very excited for fall though. It’s one of my favorite seasons. It also means that the holidays are upon us. I love the holidays and getting together with family. They are some of the best times of the year. It’s hard to believe that they are coming up so quickly already.
One of my family’s favorite things around the holidays, is using advent calendars. My kids especially love to open them up each day of the month and get a surprise inside. Insight Editions’ have some great advent calendars to choose from. They have such an amazing selection that it’s hard to choose from. I was able to get a few of them, and I’m already loving them all. They have different ones for different kinds of movies and t.v. series.
Home Alone is such a classic Christmas movie. I watch this one each year, and it is definitely one of my favorites. This advent calendar event has a pop up Christmas tree!
Friends has always been one of my favorite T.V. shows. I love this show so much. I was very excited to see that they had an advent calendar made after this show. It’s such a great show.
Harry Potter is a great movie series. I love all of the movies they have made and own them all too. This is a movie series that I will always love as well. I even love getting Harry Potter items whenever I can.
Nightmare before Christmas is another very classic one to watch during the holidays. This is one that I think can be great for both Halloween and Christmas.

I really like the Home Alone calendar with the big pop up Christmas tree. The Home Alone movies are favorites of mine, so I would enjoy the advent calendar. These are a really fun idea. I wasn’t familiar with the Insight Editions brand of advent calendars, but I will be on the look out for them. The Disney Princess one would be a huge hit for a child in the family.

I have a Harry Potter tree so that calendar is perfect for me. I even made ornaments from the books.
