I have been waiting a while to hear of the release of Aladdin (live version). I absolutely loved the animated version, so I was happy to hear about them making the live version as well. If you haven’t seen either of the Aladdin movies yet, I would say you’re really missing out. The animated one is such a great Disney classic. It’s probably one of my favorite ones they made too. I also really love that they made the live one as well. Everyone in the movie are such great actor/actresses. Definitely ones you’re going to want to watch if you haven’t yet. Both the live and animated were released today, so you can pick up your own copy of either of these movies.

Extras explore elements of “Aladdin” that audiences adore, from the film’s treasured, iconic award-winning music to its beloved characters and their hilarious antics on and off screen. Viewers get the first look at an all-new song “Desert Moon,” deleted from the final film, written by eight-time Academy Award® winning composer Alan Menken and Oscar®-and Tony Award®-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“The Greatest Showman,” “La La Land”). I got this beautiful jewelry kit along with the movies. My kids and I had a lot of fun putting the jewelry together. I did a couple of bracelets and they did the rest. The genie lamp was for jewelry, and my kids really loved that. They even pretended to rub it for a wish. They put the extra jewelry pieces inside the lamp. They used the trinket dish to put the bracelets they made on it. What a lovely jewelry kit this was. We had so much fun with it!

    I am happy that a DVD copy is available. This is one of our all time favorites and it would be so nice to be able to watch it over and over again at home. The bonus features are fantastic too. That would add more family fun!
