Rugrats has always been one of my favorite shows while growing up. I would always watch this show when it was on. I have so many great memories growing and and seeing the Rugrats on T.V. If you haven’t heard yet, Rugrats: Season 1, Volume 2 is now out on DVD! I was so happy when they started coming out with a whole new series of Rugrats that is more updated. I loved the show as a kid, and I still love it today. It’s always exciting seeing a show from your childhood come back again. In inspiration of the Rugrats, I wanted to make a recipe. Angelica has always been one of my favorite characters on the show, so I thought I would make some delicious chocolate bark from her character. Angelica has blonde hair and usually has purple bows in her hair as well as her outfit being part purple. I thought this would be a great way to combine both yellow and purple to make some chocolate bark.
Angelica's Chocolate Bark
Ingredients
- 16 oz. Yellow Candy Melts You can always use white and yellow food coloring too.
- Purple Sprinkles Use as many sprinkles as you'd like.
Instructions
- First line a baking sheet up with some parchment paper.
- Then you're going to want to put your chocolate melts in to a microwave safe bowl. Then put them in the microwave until they are all melted. I usually do 30 seconds and then 10 seconds more each time until it's melted.
- Now pour the chocolate over the parchment paper and spread it out. You can do this however thin or thick you'd like. I like mine to be a bit thinner.
- Next you want to add the sprinkles over the top of the chocolate. Just sprinkle them around until it looks the way you'd like.
- Now put this in the fridge for at least an hour so it can harden.
- Once it is ready, take it out of the fridge. Now I normally use a knife to help break the chocolate apart. You can do this how you want, but a knife works really well.
- Now that it is all broken to pieces, enjoy!
