Bath and Body Works has their candle sale every year. It is always in the month of December. Right in time for Christmas! It’s the perfect time to get candles for yourself or gift them for the holidays. The prices usually do go up each year though, but that’s okay. They are still a great deal. The candles were $10.25 this year. That is a savings of $15.25. They had the deal both on Friday and Saturday. These deals go fast online, so I like to shop in store. Plus, you get to actually smell them while you’re in store, so I like that too.
I didn’t have any problems getting in right away either. I know sometimes they’re so busy that it gets really crowded. My oldest daughter Mercades loves candles as well, so she went in with me. We usually go to Bath and Body Works inside a mall. The one we went to this year was definitely inside a mall too. They had so much to choose from too.
I already knew going in that I was looking for at least four candles and a body lotion. I had some coupons that I was able to use on top of all the great deals on the candles. That’s why I was after the four candles and a body lotion. One of the coupons was good for a free body care item up to $13.50. The other was good for $10 off $40, which is why I wanted to get four candles. It was like getting the fourth candle free with the coupon. I get coupons in the mail all the time, so it’s great being able to use those there.
They had a lot of great holiday scented candles this year. We loved so many of them. Mercades and I did end up getting mostly holiday scents. One of our favorite candles was the ‘Tis the Season candle. It smells amazing. They always have so many candles to choose from. I only wanted a few, but I bet I could have gotten a lot more if I really wanted. It can be difficult finding just a few when you’re there. I would have gotten a lot more if I really wanted. Each year I go in when they have their sale, I usually see some people with bags full of candles. I normally just get a few when they have the sale. I don’t honestly need to go overboard with the candles. Just a few is good for me and my daughter.
For the candles I ended up getting Black Cherry Merlot, Raspberry Mimosa, ‘Tis the Season, and Holiday. I also got the Winter Candy Apply lotion. Mercades and I also love shopping for lotion. We usually get candles and lotion when we go to Bath and Body Works. The Black Cherry Merlot wasn’t a holiday candle, but it was still part of their candle deals. I just had to have this one because this is one of my favorite scents.
I was very excited about lighting up the Holiday candle because it smells like cinnamon. Cinnamon is one of my all time favorite scents, especially around the holidays. Anytime I smell something to do with cinnamon, I’m drawn to it. I just love the scent so much. I think cinnamon is a great smell around Christmas time. It always reminds me of the holidays.
Overall I’m impressed as always with Bath and Body Works. They do such a wonderful job with all their products. Everyone was so great during the event too. One of the workers was extremely helpful while we were there. He handed us a bag right away and talked a bit about the sale and such. They are always very friendly at Bath and Body Works. It’s one of the reasons I love shopping there.

Oh fun! I normally shop this sale but I skipped it this year. I have enough candles. But I am going to the store today to get the $1 hand sanitizers as gifts.
