Since the release of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was out a few days ago, I wanted to be able to make something that went well with this movie. Since we all know the rose does play a big part in this movie, I decided to make something that went with the rose in the movie.
What you’ll need
Scissors
Hot Glue
Wooden Dowel
Mason Jar
Red Tissue Paper
What you’re going to want to do first, is to get 3 pieces cut out like I have above.
Next you want to fold them like I have above. Fold them about three times.
Next you’ll want to cut them so that they look like the photo above.
Next you want to use the dowel to hot glue it to one of the pieces of tissue paper. Make sure the round part of the tissue paper is on top. Keep rolling it up til it’s all the way rolled. Then you just use the other two pieces of tissue paper and roll those up as well. Make sure you keep gluing them so they stay.
When you’re done rolling those up, they should look similar to the photo above.
Then you want to take the dowel and glue it to the lid.
I added some glitter to my jar, but you don’t have too. I just thought it would look a bit nicer with some glitter on it. That’s all there is too it though. It’s a very simple craft.

That is the cutest craft! I have to make this with my daughter. We both LOVED the live action adaptation.
My girls loved helping me out with it.
This is beautiful! I have wanted a rose in a dome for years from Beauty and the Beast, but they are so expensive (over $150!). This is a great craft and I can’t wait to make it. I just need to find the right jar.
There are many ways to make them too. You can use fake flowers if you want as well.
A rose in a dome! What Beauty and the Beast fan wouldn’t want to make that craft? I know I want too!
Right. I love it!
What a cute craft! This is super cute! I’m thinking it would make a great homeschool craft that my boys could later give to their grandmothers!
Right! My girls loved helping out with this.
Awee what a cute and easy to do craft project! I love the addition of putting it in a glass jar! This is great for parents with younger kids, or anyone who loves crafts and Beauty and the Beast!
