Looking for some ways to spice up your food? How about trying some of the chutney from Bombay Emerald? They have five different kinds of chutney and spices as well. I had received the royal plum chutney and the royal pomegranate chutney. Each chutney is all natural, versatile, allergen-free, and fat-free.
Have you ever tried chutney before? This was my first time trying it. I have to say that it’s a bit spicy so if you don’t like spicy stuff you probably wouldn’t like this. I love spicy foods, so I was excited to try this out. It was very different, yet good. It’s very easy to spread if you use it on foods like crackers. It’s a lot thinner than jams but it’s almost like a jam except spicier of course.
As you can see, this looks a lot like jam or even salsa. You could use these on just about anything. I was using them both with crackers and loved it. You can use them with things like soups, desserts, cheese, salads, meats, fruits…really anything you want to try it with. Just remember that this will make it spicier.
What would you use the chutney for? I’m sure you’ll find something to use this for and make a great dish too! I’m thinking of using some for soup as well. Make it a bit spicier. Overall I’d say this product was really good. Make sure to check out Bombay Emerald Chutney for all your spice and chutney needs.

I would totally add that chutney to rice. Def. the Pomegranate! and eat the plum in spicy rice, like make a curry with it maybe, or a new version of rice pudding too. For the love of spice ~ their saying makes me smile. =)
